This place is absolutely gorgeous, with stunning ocean views! We arrived late on a stormy night and experienced rough weather for the first day and a half, and it was wonderful to be in such fabulous accommodations. We relaxed in the living room watching the giant waves crashing out the glass doors/wall, ran across the street for snacks & burgers, and were able to wander the beach when the rain paused. We stayed several other places on our trip (joined a group tour), and this was hands-down the BEST! So glad we were here for the stormy part, as we still got to enjoy our time, regardless of the weather. Our last morning, with clear weather, we enjoyed the most beautiful sunrise! You can view this from your bed, or wander out on the patio. Home is new & lovely with solid internet & great amenities; we did some light cooking & appreciated having the necessities on hand. They provide a binder with all kinds of useful info, recommendations & maps. Great, fast communication.

We had the most amazing time at Starboard which was pure paradise. From the moment we arrived, the stunning ocean views took our breath away, and the villa itself was better than the photos. The infinity pool was our daily retreat, we couldn't get enough of it. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to cook meals, and the complimentary coffee, fruit, and fresh bread were great touches. Waking up to the sunrise over the ocean each morning was a highlight. While the beach in front of the villa is more for sunbaking than swimming, the pool more than made up for it. Muri Beach is also just a short drive away and perfect for swimming. Having the car included was amazing. It made exploring the island, going to dinners, and doing day tours really easy. Our host Anita went above and beyond to assist us during our stay (including meeting us at the airport on the final day to collect the car) - the epitome of a super host. Don’t hesitate - book now!

Extremely spacious accommodation and very clean. Very close to airport but this didn't bother us as the planes don't go often. Love the spa. The host was super responsive and helpful. Air con only in bedrooms, but didnt bother us as it wasn't the height of summer. Easy self check in and there was even some snorkel gear to borrow as well. Very close to main town and supermarkets, easy to find with instructions from host. Would definitely stay again, thank you!

Dear Leilani and Vai, Thank you both so much for a truly wonderful stay at your beautiful home in Rarotonga. Having visited the island more than 20 times over the years, we can honestly say your property has been one of our absolute favourites. The home is incredibly spacious, immaculately clean and tidy, and perfectly set up for a relaxing stay. We especially loved the pool area – the covered spaces on both sides of the living area made it easy to enjoy the outdoors at any time of day, rain or shine. Vai, thank you for the outstanding job keeping everything in such pristine condition – it really made a difference and did not go unnoticed. For future guests, we’d highly recommend Vianna’s for a casual bar experience, Nautilus for finer dining and delicious small plates, and the Bond Store for the best value alcohol outside of duty free. If the weather plays along, a jet ski tour with TVK watersports is also an exciting way to experience the island from a different perspective.

Our second time staying here for a girls holiday and we absolutely love it, we will be back again. We absolutely lived in the pool and out on the big porch. Close to everything, hired a car to shoot off to the beach and cafes and restaurants. Plenty of food options within walking distance too. Nora and John are amazing hosts. Thank you ❤️

Great house, awesome sunsets and everything as we thought! Diane was a fabulous host, always quick to respond to questions and gave information freely 😃 the beach directly in front of the house was quite rocky but we managed to get a snorkel in! Wow! As a family of 5 with 3 late teen / adult age children this house was just perfect. The bedrooms with separate ensuites were luxurious and spacious and the communal areas were perfect for gathering together as well as having break out space. The views from all rooms and the decks exceeded our expectations. The location was walking distance from multiple restaurants, cafes, and the night markets. The beach was pristine and incredibly accessible for walks and snorkeling right out the front. Location was A+. Our hosts Michael and Jo were friendly and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. We can't wait to come back, and we would choose this home again in a heartbeat!

Loved the house! Highly recommend hiring a car as it is a bit of a walk if you don’t. But the outdoor shower was amazing, the house was exactly as described and absolutely perfect. The beds were extremely comfortable. Diane was able to accomodate our quick changes we needed. Would stay again next time we come to raro!

Our family had a wonderful stay, surrounded by lush wildlife, local insects, and friendly neighborhood pets (Tails, Becsy, and Kitty). *Important Notes:* - The property can be tricky to find, but follow the provided map, and you'll arrive safely. Turn at the friendly Mart, proceed to the end, turn right, and it's 400m down the road on the corner. - Be prepared for a rustic, no-frills experience. The island's humid climate means things can get damp, and wildlife/insects may find their way into the house. - The property is located at the top of a steep gravel hill, so you’ll need a car - This property is ideal for small families or couples; it's not suitable for large gatherings or parties, as the owner and neighbors live nearby. - Breathtaking views that are amazing to wake up to every morning - Unique opportunity to connect with nature and local wildlife - Friendly neighborhood pets that will capture your heart Thanks Glen

Loved the quaintness and proximity to great snorkelling beach (swam with turtle there on our last day). Also close to good rental place for scooter. Host was responsive, helpful and available. Very chilled - wish we could have stayed longer.

Fantastic property for groups or families. The property was exactly as described and in such a lovely location. The host and property manager were both fantastic to communicate with and sorted any minor issues we had very promptly. The cafe next door is open Wed - Sun and is generally pretty quiet so does not disturb the peacefulness. The beach in front of the property was less populated than more central Muri which made it feel very private. The kids had a blast crab hunting each morning and swimming on our door stop. The property is well equipped and had a small selection of beach toys and reef shoes/flippers outside. Easy walking distance to central Muri and the restuarants and activity providers there as well as a range of eating options. The bus stops just down the road as well. We would 100% stay again and would recommend to anyone!

Isabelle and Allen’s property was perfect. Very peaceful and relaxing location. The house was very clean and tidy. We loved the layout of the house with a lovely covered patio for dining. Isabelle was so helpful right up to letting us have a ( very ) late checkout due to our late departure flight. Thank you.

As soon as we walked in we felt we were home. The house had all we needed and more, the pool was a blessing in between trips to town or activities to cool down. Rebecca’s was also responsive to messages. Thank you again, we look forward to our return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at your home. It had everything we needed and more. The pool kept the kids (11 & 14) busy regardless of weather. The kitchen, laundry and bathroom were perfect, complete with little details like a spare toothbrush. Communication with Rangi, Claire and Amy was easy and it was so helpful that they extended our stay by .5 day to accommodate our evening flight. Would definitely stay there again!

The ladies managing for the owners are wonderful and they give us free passion fruits daily, always asking if there’s anything we need. It’s so peaceful and off the main road so best night sleep on the island for sure.

Highly recommended!!! The home is beautiful with everything as listed. Private location waking up everyday to a beautiful view of the mountainside, with beach access just across the road. This place was perfect for our young family of four with 2 kids under five as there is a big yard with chickens where kids can run around. We enjoyed our stay here, Matanoanoa is a fantastic host who would check in on us making sure we had what we needed, from time to time. Would love to come back ❤️

This was our third time staying at Paul’s place. The house is fantastic. It was great to have a full kitchen as we like to prepare our own meals some of the time. We had a car so found it easy to get around the island. Very close to the airport which was handy. It’s not the best area for swimming or snorkelling, but the lagoon outlook is beautiful. We enjoyed afternoon strolls along the beach and ‘happy hour’ on the deck admiring the stunning sunsets. Paul was very easy to communicate with and very generously allowed us to check in a bit earlier which was very helpful. There’s a bakery and service station in walking distance which made grabbing a few essentials very easy, however we did a bigger shop at the local supermarket a 5 min drive away. We prefer to snorkel near The Rarotongan and opposite Chantal’s Concierge which was an easy drive towards the other end of the island. Overall a very comfortable stay at a reasonable price. You can’t go wrong at Paul’s.

One of the best places I've stayed at, a very large, spacious house with many rooms near the sea, fresh, just like the photos, I would love to return.

Melanie’s place is fantastic. Extremely well located on the island, the place itself was beautiful with a lovely pool and all other amenities needed. Mel was extremely responsive and helpful, assisting us with everything we needed. Would most definitely stay here if returning to the Cook Islands.

Absolutely amazing place, would highly recommend this accommodation. Malina was so accommodating to our needs allowing us to drop off our luggage while we went out for lunch and even allowing a late check out due to an afternoon international flight home. Her home was clean and modern very spacious and private especially for my noisy large family. Definitely rebooking again soon. Thank you Malina

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The deck looking straight out to the lagoon was a huge treat. You couldn’t get closer to great snorkelling. The location is just off the main road, close to great coffee and food choices. The interior was spotless and had everything you would need. We would highly recommend this as a base in Rarotonga.

Altho our trip was cut short due to an incident, this is a beautiful home, tucked up inland away from the main road. Our hosts were absolutely lovely, very friendly, helpful and there whenever we needed them. They have 2 pups that welcomed you when you arrive, gorgeous pups. Thank you for having us. Our family stayed at the homestead and we will be back for sure. It was beautiful, peaceful and close to town. Our host was very quick to respond and super friendly. The house has everything you need. The pool was so warm it even felt like it had been heated. The gardens are beautiful and there is a nice breeze that runs through the home. The outhouse is perfect for grandparents to give them a little extra space. Thanks so much. We can't wait to come back.
