On the main square opposite the church, and with lovely countryside views across the pretty river Clain and its medieval bridge, the house combines a sense of history with modern convenience and plenty of space. Perfect for families or groups of friends, there's plenty to do just staying in, but it is also a great base for exploring the beautiful Vienne and Charente.

Gite No. 2 sleeps 4

Welcome to our Gite, simply named Le Gite No 2! Over the past year we have brought this old building back to life with a total re-fit and makeover. Gite is in an amazing location with lots to do and see. Your hosts are Mark and Agnieszka, and, between us, we speak English, French, Polish and a little German. We are here to make your stay with us happy and relaxing, while you create wonderful memories! We live next door to the Gite and therefore, should you need help, we are on hand 24/7.

Charming spacious house in pretty village centre

Relax in this charming and spacious house with south facing sun terrace. This traditional stone built villa sits in the centre of the village opposite a 17th century church, with free parking and EV (Sorégies) charging point. The local bar/shop is a two minute walk. Villa Lierre is 5 mins from a large supermarket at L’Isle Jourdain. The Circuit du Val de Vienne is 15 minutes away by car. There are historic towns to explore nearby, and the river Vienne is a short walk through the village.

Old Water Mill

Old water mill, built in 1850. Many of the original features of the mill have been left & been used to create a place of charm & character. Situated on a twelve acre lake, within a listed & protected zone by Natura 2000. You can eat your breakfast on the terrace next to the lake, in a very beautiful & tranquil setting. The only noise here comes from the birds, wildlife & the sheep in the surrounding fields. Owner lives on site in adjacent farm house. Many local bars & excellent restaurants.

La Maison du Passeur Gite

Close to Circuit du Val de Vienne, this well-equipped, historic cottage in a quiet location for up to six guests has views over the river and countryside. Three bedrooms - a large master and two further adjoining rooms - plus a sofa bed in the living room. Please note, there are some low doorways and internal steps. Availles-Limouzine, a charming village on the Vienne river, has a bakery, a butcher, a general store and a weekly market. You will also find several restaurants and cafe/bars.

Whether you are a couple, with family or on a business trip, this apartment will make you have a pleasant stay. It consists of a double bedroom and a single bedroom equipped with a changing table. In the living room you will find the table where you can savor the dishes cooked in the equipped kitchen located next door. In the cupboards, you will find enough to keep young and old busy with board games etc. The accommodation is equipped with fiber optic internet, Wi-Fi is free.

It is also 10 minutes from the Oradour-sur-Glane Memorial Centre and 20 minutes from Limoges, City of Arts and Fire, famous for its porcelain.

Large stone terrace shaded by a stone pine. Wood-burning stove in the living room. Located on the edge of the village with direct access to the paths. Ideal setting for athletes and/or families who want to enjoy nature and animals: Horses, sheep, chickens are present on the property.
