Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Auroville

I stayed here with my family - husband and both set of parents. There was something for everyone - temple for both the moms, beautiful sunrise and walkable beach for us, and proximity to the main MG road for food and everything else. The check in was easy and we were welcomed by 2 cats. The house is beautiful and cosy. Neighbors are friendly. They guided us on the parking space and their colourful kolams brightened our morning walks.

I had a great stay at Vincent’s property! The place was beautiful, peaceful, and exactly what we were looking for. Vincent is a very understanding and helpful host, which made the experience even better. Would definitely recommend this stay to anyone visiting the area!

The homestay was very neat and clean, well organized, location was also good. The bathrooms could have been better with normal bathroom tiles which could have given it a clean and neat feel. The color and decor of the rooms were a bit loud and gaudy, may be because of the Chettinad theme. The wall paper of one room had come out, it needs to be stuck back. Overall good to stay. As I am a very down to earth person I couldn’t adjust myself with the overtly colorful and gaudy surroundings of the rooms. The terrace was beautiful and very peaceful.

We rented the private hut space in the property and I must say, we felt home instantly! The Hut was so cozy and welcoming and it was exactly and more than what we expected. I wished that the ceiling of the first floor was even higher as we had to crawl every time we had to move. however, we got used to that too quite soon as it brought us all more together. We were allowed access to the common areas of the property. It is extremely well-maintained and it's heaven to be there. The kitchen had everything we needed and it's great we could cook ourselves, make ourselves some tea. Vignesh was a very kind and generous host. He showed us the other rooms which I'm looking forward to booking the next time I'm in Auroville. if you're looking for a place that's away from all the noise, amongst nature, economical, functional and feels at home, this is the place.

we went as a family of 5 ...we enjoyed our stay..house is beautiful with lots of social media pics 😍.. pro... beautiful picturesque cons...wifi non functional....if u expect u can see the sea from ur house or room..that's not possible,... however sea beach is 100 mts walking...fishing community there... pro....zomato zepto Swiggy all delivery possible cons..if u don't have a vehicle then sight seeing and moving about will be auto ...or rentals scooter... plenty available although... overall a enjoying relaxing stay...host doesn't disturb at all..maid comes to clean utensils... so not much complaint s. .will come back again

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison très confortable, spacieuse, propre, bien équipée et qui dispose d’une belle terrasse où se reposer le soir après avoir parcouru la ville de Pondichery. Nos hôtes, Thabitha et Paruvadha, sont charmantes, disponibles, très soucieuses de notre bien être et de notre confort. Nous avons une très bonne communication. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and aesthetic apartment. The flat was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed—every corner felt welcoming. My parents absolutely loved the visit and are already looking forward to coming back soon. There was ample parking space, which was a big plus since I drive a sedan, and I had no trouble navigating within the society. The neighborhood itself is peaceful, with friendly residents, and the building has a lift which made things very convenient for my parents. One of the highlights was the stunning view from the balcony—it was the perfect spot to unwind. Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations. Huge thanks to the fantastic host for making our trip so memorable!

This place felt like a home and it was very private. Host was very responsive and took care of us whenever needed! Definitely recommended if you’re looking for a gateway weekend at pondy to chill!!

Very peaceful stay. Not your standard resort / hotel experience as they very clearely stated. Beach is pristine. Worth for anyone who wants a little breather from the fast city life.

Pleasant stay with beautiful beach view from terrace. Room and washroom were neat and clean. Necessary kitchenette is provided. It’s a perfect stay if you are looking for beach view stay with beautiful sunrise from terrace and sunrise spot is walkable from the property . As it is a homestay we have to carry our own luggage to the 3rd floor on ourselves as no caretaker is available to help you So plan accordingly! Hosts are welcoming and helpful!!

Yaël and Vignesh place is as similar as mentioned. It’s a wonderful place for people who are traveling in group or family persons. Yaël is very responsive and she will respond you within seconds. The flat has all the amenities which are essential for living and full of aesthetics. Overall it was a lovely stay.

Joe and Teza were really accommodating and kind as hosts. We loved staying in their space. And the locality is especially pretty.

The host was very helpful. We asked for early checkin and he allowed it with reasonable price. The property is at prime location where beaches are at walkable distance and even cafes, french colony are just 100-200 m away.

The stay was really comfortable. It was kept clean with all the necessary and mentioned amenities. Vivek was very helpful. We had asked for an early checkin. He was accomadative to respond to our needs.

We stayed at Kavin’s BnB for the past two days and had a great experience. The place was clean, exactly like the photos, and in a good location. Kavin was a helpful and interactive host, always ready to assist. Would definitely recommend!

Pros: 1) Covered Car Parking. 2) Responsive and thoughtful host ( she kept some eatables for us during check-in) 3) AC even in the living room . 4) Necessary amenities 5) Lift 6) Far from the hustle of the crowd but still located within walking/driving reach of the happening places. Improvement points: 1) In-house RO facility ( 10L can was provided and host did fill up whenever needed) . 2) A door peep hole will help in knowing who is knocking the door before opening it to strangers. Suggestion to reach location: Please take the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Road (which takes 1 -2 mins more than Google suggested route) as the access road in between is very narrow and roadwork was going on. Overall, definitely a place to visit for a pleasant stay in Pondicherry. thanks for the nice memories. 😃

The place itself is beautiful and squeaky clean. They have a beautiful terrace and the location is at a walkable distance to all the amenities that you’re going to be needing for your trip, scooty on rent, restaurant, beer shops etc are all at a walkable distance. The owner also is proactive in solving the problems that were there like the pedestal fan in the outside sitting area was not working, and i told it to the owner, they responded within minutes and an electrician came within an hour of the complaint. The only minute disappointment which i had was with the parking arrangements, the car has to be parked on the streets while it is safe and I have no complaints except for the excessive amount of bird goo that plagued my car. Parking being the only concern the place is otherwise great and does not disappoint in any ways whatsoever.

The place is exactly as shown in the descriptions. Spacious and clean, located at the heart of white town. Lot of good cafes, beach, ashram etc. accessible by a short walk

We stayed at the Blue Whale Apartment for two days, and it was unforgettable! The location was fantastic—right near White Town and close to Promenade Beach. My son picked it, and he was thrilled, especially with the bunk bed crafted with net and sea shells. It was his first time sleeping on such a bed, and he couldn’t stop smiling! The apartment’s ocean theme was stunning. Daniela, our host, is so talented—every room had a unique vibe, from the boat-made dining table to the amazing hanging bed. Daniela’s poem on the wall was such a thoughtful touch, and her warm welcome made us feel at home. Her quick responses to all our questions were much appreciated. We cooked tea and snacks, but the ambiance felt like a dream house. The artifacts in every corner were so pure and the hanging basket for deliveries were a delight. The only downside is the third floor with no lift. Still, it was worth it—every detail was picture-perfect. We left with lifelong memories and can’t wait to visit again.🥰
