Great place for our family. Lots of spaces for everyone to spread out and not feel over crowded. A very clean and tidy home with lots of character. Beautiful walks through the Botanical gardens nearby and only a short drive into the city. Would definitely choose to stay here again.

This beautiful property is perfect for a group, with all the bedrooms having their own ensuites. The kitchen is the best stocked kitchen I’ve ever experienced making cooking at home easy and enjoyable. The house is lovely, open and light looking out to the beach with a gorgeous pool. It’s impossible not to relax at this beautiful property. We loved it. Also plenty of space to have your own down time with two outdoor areas and generous open plan living space. Thankyou !!

Beautiful home and in a gorgeous area!! If your about that town life you might be best to look at a location closer to the city as we had troubles getting Ubers as they didn’t wanna drive that far out. Other than that the home is absolutely stunning and just around the corner is the crystal cascades which is definitely something to see !!!

An absolute gem in an idyllic setting. From arrival to departure the communication was exceptional. The home (and I mean home not house) has everything you could possibly need and the layout was excellent for multiple families. We had six adults and 2 children and with the 3 separate sleeping and bathroom areas it just worked perfectly - everyone had their own space and bathrooms. Amazing views and facilities and great location. I would thoroughly recommend this home to anyone wanting a luxurious, affordable place to stay. Congratulations to the owners this place is definitely a little slice of paradise and to Steph for all valuable communication. Thank you again - perfection plus!

Beautifully designed, cosy and very private house deep in the rainforest. Was great coming home to the tranquility of the house after a day exploring the tablelands. We loved spending time hanging out in the peace and quiet, playing with the games and jigsaws provided, listening to the sound of the river and waterfall... and the occasional possum on the roof!

We had an incredible time at Ruth’s cabin. She was a wonderful and very responsive host who answered questions super quickly. The cabin itself is in idyllic surroundings and very private. The cabin had all the amenities we needed and was clean. Nice touches with the books and board games which kept the kids busy. Would highly recommend.

Had an absolutely amazing stay. The house was lovely and Mary was very accommodating and great with her communication.

We just finished up an amazing 1.5 weeks at Renee's beautiful place. We're a family of 4 (2 teenagers, 2 adults) and this house was perfect! We had enough room to spread out but also great common areas to share meals, conversation and games. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking - dishes, many different appliances, pots/pans as well as basic staples like olive oil. The outdoor spaces were lovely; the landscaping is beautiful and the large deck became our favorite place to hang out and watch the river, butterflies and birds. The layout was great for us - two of the bedrooms are connected to the main house via the deck so it gave everyone their own space. We had a chance to go swimming in the river which our kids loved. We arrived to Cairns very early & Renee was gracious enough to allow us to check in early which we appreciated after 28hrs of travel! We would definitely stay here again - we were sorry to leave!

This little lake house was very beautiful, quiet and relaxing. I was lucky enough to see a little family of wallabies one of the mornings. Hopefully will stay again. Nice little gem.

We had a wonderful two months stay at Gemma and Karen’s place. It was a home from home while we looked for a permanent home and we had everything we needed. The house was well set up with everything we needed for a long term stay and a couple of issues we had were dealt with quickly by our amazing hosts. A bbq was quickly replaced when the burners went faulty and our hosts were great at checking up with us to see how we were. After a two month stay and social interactions with our hosts at the local Bingal Bay cafe (which is a great community hub) we consider the hosts as good friends too! The house is just 500m from one of the most glorious beaches in the area and we had the most relaxing time enjoying a home that we considered our home for the stay. Thank you Karen and Gemma for making our stay as relaxing as possible. We hope to see the family around the Mission Beach area now we have decided to stay here rather than head to a bigger city. Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Very quiet and very private. And we loved the beds! They were very comfortable after a long day of shopping. The pool area was beautiful. It was far too cold (for us) to swim, but we would definitely go back in summer just to hang out by the pool. Very happy. And he has a beautiful doggo if anybody needs to get a puppy fix🥰

Great house clean tidy exactly as pictured and described. Fantastic communication and as an added bonus 4 local kangaroos seem to inhabit the wild area out behind the swimming pool so you can watch them play whilst swimming. HIGHLY RECOMMEND would stay again. Thank you.

This was our favorite Airbnb we stayed in while we were in Australia. The view from the back porch was great overlooking the rainforest. Hearing all the birds through the trees really made you feel you were out in the middle of the forest because the area was so quiet. It is walking distance to Kuranda. The house was very comfortable, beds were good and everything was clean. While in the area i would definitely check the Cairns night markets, there was great food and good shopping. The hosts were great very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place.

Melissa’s place was everything it said it was! Your own private pool, beautiful views & modern bathrooms. A full size fridge, most appliances & a BBQ to make it feel very homely. We had the place to ourselves & had a nice & relaxing stay. Melissa was lovely, providing lots of information & went above and beyond to make it stress free. Any time we needed to ask a question she was more than helpful & kind. Would thoroughly recommend Melissa’s place to anyone who manages to secure a booking!
