Perfectly situated , 2km from Sancerre and 1 km fron Chavignol, an old house entirely renovated for 6 persons. Huge garden of more than 1200 m2 with a lot of fruit trees. Quiet of the countryside in the heart of a village and at the feet of vines. Garden furniture and barbecue. Huge kitchen with dining area upstairs. Master bedrrom with bathroom and office corner, second double room, and children room with two singles (2x 90 cm/ bedroom to go through to reach one of the double room).

My pillow in the barn

"Mon oreiller dans l'étable" is a small cottage located on the Loire bike route, at the gates of Sancerre and Chavignol and close to Guedelon. Great for a pleasant tourist stay. We welcome you to an outbuilding close to the owners' house but you will be totally independent. Old 45 m2 barn completely renovated with private terrace and secure parking to accommodate bicycles, you will be seduced by the charm of the old stone.

Beautifully recently renovated (2021) gites that meets all the comforts! Two airconditioners, two toilets, large fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, electric hob, waffle iron, coffee maker, kettle and even more.. Great bed and nice bathroom. Gilles was really friendly. The gites is located on a dead end street. The pool is next to the church (2min walk). Lovely pool, clean, share with other guests - but that wasn't a problem for us. There is also a toilet and changing room by the pool. Also spacious garden with lounge set. Car you park by the garden, behind closed doors. For example, the car is free and safe. That's nice. The Loire is a beautiful river. Village is quiet and the area is beautiful. Restaurant M was recommended!

It was wonderful to stay here for a few days. Beautiful house, quiet and for everyone a private room with bathroom and toilet. And very clean! From here we were able to explore the area very well. Floriane is really friendly and helpful. Despite the language barrier (I don't speak French and Floriane don't speak English very well), we always came out. Highly recommended to go!

Very nice house, very well decorated and with all the amenities needed. This is exactly what you think of a peaceful home in the countryside! Very quiet, very cozy; you almost don't want to get out of it. Very responsive and attentive hosts. Loved our stay. We will be back!

I had a nice stay at Denis's place, the accommodation is small but there is everything you need for a pleasant stay, excellent place to hike and feel at peace in nature. Monseiur Denis is a nice and accommodating person. I would recommend this place without hesitation.

The bathroom features modern fixtures, with a walk-in shower enclosed by glass panels. A countertop sink is positioned beside a full-length mirror. A washing machine is located near the entrance, while a toilet and a small waste bin complete the space.

Accommodation as advertised, easy to reach by car and quiet. We feared the stale smell mentioned in the comments of previous users, it finally turned out to be quite light, ventilation upon arrival and it was settled.
