This renovated studio apartment is the ground floor of a 70s built free-standing house. We live upstairs, and movement noise is to be expected. You will have your own separate/private entry from the back of the house. The unit has everything you need, which includes a comfy queen bed, a study desk, and a functional kitchen with a washing machine.

With 1 bedroom, 1 study, 1 bathroom, a lounge, a balcony and a kitchen, you can cook at home or enjoy the many restaurants the Kedron-Chermside area has to offer. This is in the perfect spot to access Chermside Shopping Centre, Prince Charles Hospital or RBWH. We're a 15-min drive / 35-min bus ride to the Brisbane CBD (short walk to major bus routes on Gympie Road).

Unit is located behind our house. Own entrance, off street parking. A 2 minute walk to Shops (Coles +), restaurants and hotel. A bus stop, which can take you to Chermside (shops or more buses) or Strathpine shops and railway station or the City. A 15 minute drive to major shopping centres and hospitals. 40 minutes to city. 2 hours Gold Coast and 1.5 hours to Sunshine coast. The unit is only suitable for 1 or 2 guests. I am sorry but I cannot accommodate infants/children or pets.

The Red Door Cottage

Separate fully self contained "Granny Flat" with its own entrance off an easement; set in a beautifully lush garden. There is generally plenty of street parking with a walk generally no more than 30 to 40 metres up the easement to the gate which opens on to the "Red Door" of the cottage. When parking please be aware of the bus stop at the end of the easement; Queensland laws stipulate a 10 metre clearway in front and 20m clearway at the rear of the bus stop.
