Monthly Rentals in Aso

We fell in love with the place right away: the energy is incredible! Tao's place is not what you expect: it's a lot more. It's the kind of place you wish you will be able to come back every weekend. The house is very well equipped, comfortable, cozy. Tao is a wonderful host, and made us feel so welcomed, as if family. He provided for little surprises, and gave us super good suggestions. We also loved the village's Onsen: I cannot think of a more beautiful setting! I wish I will be able to come back very soon. I really wish that! Thank you Tao for the wonderful time!

I stayed for 3 nights with my family of 4 (2 years old and 0 years old). I stayed consecutive nights, but the cleaning equipment was complete, so I had a clean stay. I thought it was a very good location for sightseeing around Aso. As other people have reviewed, the building shakes every time a large car passes, but it was nice that the 2-year-old and 0-year-old slept soundly. I would like to stay there again when I come to Aso.

This is a beautiful Japanese-style home set in a bucolic setting, on a quiet small road running along agricultural fields including rice. At night, you only hear the gentle sounds of frogs. You feel cocooned by the greenery and awed by the surrounding mountains, which are easily accessible for hiking. The very hot bath was welcome after a day of hard climbing. The kitchen had everything you need to make your own creations, however there were delicious options nearby, including high luxury donuts and specialty roasted coffee as well as another nearby bakery with fantastic sweet and savory creations using puff pastry. Location and a beautiful peaceful place - it has it all.

Yumiko’s place was unique and a great base for our stay in Minamiaso. She had great recommendations. We have not had the pleasure of staying in a Japanese home before and found it very comfortable. The container gallery was one of our favourite spots. We had breakfast, coffee and dinner there. The kitchen was well equipped. Area was quiet and the location was great. Can’t wait to stay here again! Thank you so much!
