We really loved our stay! The place is beautiful, and new. The views are stunning!! Kitchen could do with a few more items however we made it work. There are no condiments in the unit, but a shared pantry in the main block which we found all the basics in. You will need to bring coal, firefighters and a grill to use the outside bbq, however we found all these items relatively easily in a supermarket about 10min drive away. The main Aso visitor center is about 35mins away by car, but there is a local visitor center only 5 mins away which has a good shop. We did also discover some nice onsen only around 15mins away, you do need a car!

We had a relaxing time in a very beautiful facility.I used a supermarket called Rocky nearby, and it has a lot of ingredients, so I'd like to try a barbecue next time.

The place is very tidy and very new and clean, fully equipped, comfortable environment nearby, away from the city, quiet and quiet, can park your car outside the door, the owner is very quick to respond to messages and is thorough, I highly recommend this place

We were looking for a peaceful stay in the mountains and that's exactly what we got here! Keep in mind that this is a traditional Japanese house in a relatively remote area, so you need adjust your expectations according to this, including needing a car to get around. We opted for eating out for lunch as there were more and closer options open during the day, and we cooked our dinners using fresh and local ingredients from the closest big supermarket. The bookcase is full of interesting books if you can read Japanese and some have interesting illustrations even if you don't speak Japanese. Hana is so sweet, she gave us a bunch of recommendations for the nearest Onsens and she even dropped off a very delicious homemade dessert one night.

Our family of six traveled to Kumamoto, and we were fortunate to stay here for the night. The house retains a traditional Japanese style with a well-organized layout and is fully equipped. Although there were only two air conditioners, opening the windows at night let in a refreshing breeze. We could also hear the sounds of birds chirping and insects, which made the atmosphere very relaxing and pleasant. It was a wonderful day.

Mt. Aso was spread out right in front of me, and it was a great view.I was glad I was able to book Building N. The interior was also very clean. There are no condiments, so if you want to cook or barbecue, you need to bring your own.
