Beautiful place with great views. Very good communication with the host, Laila answered all our questions. I recommend it to lovers of peace and spending time surrounded by nature.

An absolutely great view, the entire front directly to the water consists practically only of windows. There were two of us here, which of course is pure luxury given the size. Looking out over the sea in the bedroom or using the cozy sofa or armchair in the living room... simply fantastic. The kitchen was well equipped. Another small pot and egg cup would have made it optimal. You can also notice private use. Everything was set up as you would need it yourself. We were able to make good use of the freezer and I also used the hot tub. You lie in the warm bubbling water and look at the sea. Great. Thank you, Astrid Marie. Your house was a great start to our Norway vacation.

An amazing, peaceful location. As Australians we had no idea how it would be to stay on an island in Norway. After a first day when we learnt it was important to allow time to get around the island to the ferry (thanks to tardy sheep), we enjoyed several days out to sightsee further afield. The house is most ideal for the wonderful views, hikes and peace of the island but, if you're willing to plan carefully, trips into the Sognfjord region are certainly possible. This is an adventurous stay in nature, so be prepared for an awesome stay! Upon arrival, the family greeted us and after packing our backpacks we were personally escorted up the mountain. The walk was exhausting with heavy baggage but totally worth it for the complete privacy up there. Only noises are birds, waterfalls and once in a while a plane or an avalanche from beyond the valley. We got some fresh water for cooking from nearby streams and enough firewood that lasted us our whole overnight stay. The hikes from the cabin offer breathtaking views. The hosts are very responsive and helpful via chat. We definitely want to come back for longer :)

We enjoyed the whole weekend. Feira a 50th birthday and filled up all the bedrooms, the kids could be out all day, play in the large gymnasium and swim in the water just below. We were also at the Norwegian Deer Center got a tour, greeting deer as well as a good dinner in the evening. The whole extended family has enjoyed mulling all weekend. Several were on a mountain hike and got good views as well as trim.

What a wonderful place for a holiday :) we had a lovely few days here. Super friendly and helpful welcome from Rose's husband who took care of us and gave us recommendations throughout our stay, a well equipped kitchen, lovely space to sit outside. Nearby are great walks and bike hire. Just be aware that the stairs are steep but that's shown in the photos and adds to the charm :)

We, 2 adults and our two 11-year-old daughters, loved the stay in this wonderful place in an exclusive location right on the fjord! The house is very appealing and well designed, comfortable and offers everything for a quiet break!

We had a lovely relaxing few days at Kenneth’s beautiful house. It is very well-equipped and spacious and has a lovely view. The surroundings are very peaceful so it was easy to unwind there.

Lovely stay with colleagues. Very nice and large cabin with all the equipment. Tonje was very nice and always quick to respond. Felt at home. The area around the cabin is very peaceful and nice. Worth the money!

The cabin is a great place to relax, no neighbours, no noise, beautiful walks to do on the island. We loved the fireplace and the fully functional kitchen.

Wow! The pictures simply don’t do justice to this amazing place. The cabins are beautiful and comfortable and the surroundings are breathtaking! Andreas was incredibly helpful all the time - we had lots of questions to ensure we were close enough to UWC, and the answers came with kindness and patience! Once we arrived, we were impressed about how well kept the grounds are and how impressive and peaceful the view is from the deck! The bed in the main bedroom is very comfortable (we did not try the others!) and the kitchen is well equipped. If you are planning to visit the area don’t hesitate to book this unique place!

The place was a very nice experience for us. Nature and tranquility on one side and electricity and water and everything you need on the other side (even a dishwasher). If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place to be. The hosts were very friendly and we were even allowed to visit the sheep.

Amazing place, patio, view ,all you need, good beds ,boat for fishing available. Mary-Anne was very caring and did her best to make sure we had a nice stay.
