Vallakot Farm Miðbær

Vallakot Farm Guesthouse is a small guesthouse, located in Northeast Iceland in the middle of the Diamond circle. It is situated in a green and peaceful valley called Reykjadalur and the village Laugar is only a few kilometers away with a restaurant, grocery shop, a swimming pool and other amenities. Vallakot Farm is both a farm and a guesthouse and a place that has been in the family for decades. We have three studio apartments built in 2017 and a cabin that we finished renovate in June 2023.

Holt stendur hátt í landinu og er því einstakt útsýni af bæjarhlaðinu, yfir víðlendar heiðar og strandlengju Þistilfjarðar. Húsin eru 25 fm og vel útbúin, með eldhúsi, baðherbergi og sófahorni. Morgunverður er framreiddur í körfum og er innifalinn í verði.

Eurovision movie apartment located in the heart of Húsavík, the whale watching capital, is the best place to stay to experience local Icelandic vibes. This house was built in 1904 which makes it one of the oldest (and coolest :) houses in Húsavík. What is more, the Eurovision movie was shot there. 2 floors apartment with 3 bedrooms and huge spacious living room gonna make your stay unforgettable. Original restored turf farmhouse in the highlands

Sænautasel gives you a opportunity to experience living as people did in the olden days in Iceland. You should therefore be aware that there is no electricity. Everybody is sleeping in “Baðstofan”, which the space over the kitchen is called in Icelandic. Breakfast and/or Dinner is available for extra charge. You need to book this in advance at least 2 days prior. If you decide to book 2 nights you should be aware that Sænautasel functions as a guided museum from 12-17 PM.

The house is beautifully located in Hjalteyri. From the house there is a stunning view over the fiord, with both mountains and water in sight. The inside of the house is bright, because of the big windows and light colors inside. The house is located a 20 minutes drive from both Akureyri and Dalvík - two larger cities. Hope you will enjoy our cottage house and its surroundings. Hjalteyri offers a restaurant, art gallery and a public hot tub by the ocean.

We are located 20km from Akureyri so this cabin is the perfect location for those seeking peace and quiet, nature, northern lights or just a great base on the Arctic Coastway.

A little cabin built in year 2015 in an amazing location in the wonderful Lake Myvatn area. Surrounded by nature and birdlife you'll feel right at home in our cozy cabin, with a kitchen, queen size bed, full bathroom and a big hot tub. Self catering. Hot tub access. Beautiful views only few steps from the cabin. The pseudo craters in the north and the wetland and the mountains in the south and east.

Cosy cottage in the countryside

Hvoll is a farm with horses, sheeps, dog and a cat. It is located in Þingeyjarsveit by road 854. It is a perfect location if you want to enjoy the countryside and visit some of the beautiful places in north Iceland, like: Lake Myvatn (30 km away), Húsavík (27 km away), Goðafoss waterfall (17 km away) and Dettifoss waterfall (68 km away).
