Cottage vacation rentals in Arratia-Nerbioi

Host and their family went out of their way to assist us. Together we looked through our trip itinerary and made additional suggestions where appropriate. They helped us when we broke down with a flat tire communicating with the rental car company to get us a new rental and tow truck. Our last day we thought we had left some items at the rental after we had checked out and they went back to open the house up to allow us to get back inside and find our items. Very friendly. The house was great and overlooks a valley with the towns below. We were visited by cows and sheep and all the snails and slugs natural to the area. After hiking, biking, and visiting the surrounding towns it was a nice relaxing spot to come back to. I would highly recommend!

Highly recommended. We spent two nights, a group of 8 friends. The house is beautiful, spacious, cozy, tastefully decorated, and has all the details. We were very comfortable, looking forward to repeating.

We stayed 2 nights in this beautiful cottage. The very well-equipped kitchen, jacuzzi and swimming pool very well cared for, and the neighbor's dog is very friendly. There are amazing landscapes around the area (we went to a beautiful waterfall). But above all, I would highlight the kindness and good communication with Veronica, she was very flexible and she was attentive to us when we needed it for punctual issues. ☺️ We would definitely repeat in this dream house ❤️ Thank you!!!

Antonio is a fantastic host. Super responsive and very helpful especially with recommendations for local walks and for helping with animal health certificate requirements for returning to the UK. The house was big enough for the 11 of us and there was plenty for all of us to do for the whole week we were there. Any issues we had were resolved incredibly quickly by Antonio. Just a short walk from the house is a lovely little cafe that sells baguettes, coffee and some alcohol - very reasonably priced but please note only takes cash which caught us out on our first visit. We visited Balmaseda a couple of times which has an incredible bakery which I would very much recommend. The train station is less than 5 minutes walk but we didn’t get the train whilst we were there - it may have been quicker to get to bilbao and something to check out if you visit again. One of my best experiences ever . Irati was absolutely superb from start to finish an excellent communicator and nothing was too much bother . The cottage was delight ful and the scenery was amazing . She even organised our taxi in and out of the city not to mention booking our tables at the restaurants we ate in . Out of 10 I would give her 11

Great place and very accommodating

We are very happy to have spent these days there. It was very relaxing, beautiful place. The welcome was really warm. The house is as described and very convenient. We are really happy. Small bonus for sharing with these two dogs and these 4 ducks. 😍

Ideal accommodation for a few days of rest and relaxation. As shown in the photos, everything is impeccable and the environment is wonderful. Patricia has been very helpful and kind. And... The bathroom in the jacuzzi is a must, spectacular! In addition, it is perfect for going with a pet. We'll repeat!

A great stay. A house in the middle of nature (but with easy access), with a garden and barbecue. The rooms are spacious and have more than you need. The owners are always available for anything and very friendly. Unbeatable value, we will definitely be back.

We had a great stay at this house. It is spacious and very well furnished, nicely furnished and it is pleasant to stay there. The garden is beautiful and we enjoyed it, the covered terrace allows you to eat outside even when it rains. The host is very friendly and accommodating.

An excellent stay, the house is very comfortable and very well-equipped. Even better than expected! Jaime welcomed us very warmly and gave us some great tourist tips. He was very responsive in answering our questions. Finally, the situation in the countryside is quiet and rejuvenating. Thank you Francoise for hosting us.

The accommodation is located in a privileged area, since the surroundings are really beautiful, with stunning views. The house is very nice and the garden and barbecue area are amazing, it is the definition of being surrounded by nature.

The stay at Laura's house was great, it has magnificent views of the Sierra de Codés and Mount Yoar. The porch and garden are phenomenal, the two dogs we brought enjoyed it a lot. Both Laura by phone and her father Fausti in town were attentive at all times. And a great touch to find the fireplace lit on arrival, on a cold day. Highly recommended

We had a great time at the house, which was super spacious and very tidy. Ideal for 8 people. There were 9 of us and there was a folding bed that was not very comfortable, so the person who slept there did not get much rest, but otherwise everything was ideal. Huge kitchen/dining room, the house is always warm, spacious rooms… no complaints.

A great stay, the house is as shown in the images, very comfortable to go in a group, with large and open spaces and very well equipped. We were even able to take advantage of the porch despite the bad weather. The surroundings are very nice and peaceful. Andreea was a perfect host, always attentive. Thank you so much!

Charo and Marcos are super friendly hosts! Charo was waiting for us and had baked a delicious tortilla and cheesecake. The dining table was full of all kinds of delicacies! It was cool outside and the heating was already turned on for us. It is a lovely house in a small village close to the highway and Santander. We enjoyed it and would love to come back!

A wonderful accommodation in a beautiful area. Very much enjoyed the tranquility, the cottage and the area. Upon arrival, the fireplace was already on and there was a delicious homemade cake ready and fresh eggs. Communicated well with the host using Google Translate.

Hi Susanna Janeen and I loved staying in your cosy stone cottage by a river with a beautiful timbered setting. Easy to to, convenient location as we had a car. From the first moment, Adela's service was very good, very communicative and she answered my questions. The accommodation is great, everything is very clean, tidy, it has everything you need (and more!) to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The fireplace is a plus at this time of year (December). The common area is spacious, two open kitchen and living room rooms, very comfortable when it comes to being in the accommodation. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable beds, everything was clean and in order. The bathroom is somewhat narrow (it depends on each person's taste), although the shower is wonderful. The window didn't open and it was the only drawback I found. Everything else was magnificent. The village is quiet, in a beautiful valley, with possibilities for sports around and tourism (Bilbao 30min, Vitoria 40min...) I would recommend this accommodation because I was very satisfied and because I would repeat if the opportunity arose. Thanks Adela, especially for accepting Baio and Lea ❤️

The house is beautiful! Ideal to disconnect. Very attentive and made sure we arrived without any problems. We were greeted with a delicious cake:). It was very sad to leave the house because it is very cozy, the garden is ideal for children. I highly recommend them! Thank you so much for everything!

It is an entire mini house, with a small kitchen in the basement - very steep stairs, be careful - a mini living room that is not for tourist use on the ground floor, and two double bedrooms with a bathroom upstairs. Juan Miguel came running when we arrived and even showed us his cellar that same afternoon. Very kind.

A lovely home to stay in, hosts are very helpful and on hand with any requests you need (taxis, recommendations etc). Located in a lovely quiet little town but also €60-70 in a taxi to Bilbao. Thanks for your hospitality!
