I don't know where to start! Our visit to the Douro Valley couldn't have been better! Casa Souto was everything that we thought it would be. Both Mr. João Souto and Ms. Maria de Fatima were the absolute BEST hosts we've ever had. They went above and beyond in every conceivable way! Our stay was perfect. Teresa and Jorge are wonderful hosts, who have pampered us throughout our stay. They are always available and looking to satisfy any wishes or needs we may have. The house is really unique and special, full of history and beautiful decoration, antiques and exquisite details. Children and adults have been so comfortable with the pool, the weather, the barbecue, the outdoor furniture,... that we have enjoyed the house more than the obligatory tourist visits to the city and the area. 100% Recommended

A beautiful place to stay. Comfortable beds and immaculate. The pool was deliciously cool and the views out of every window were like paintings. We will return.

Casa Grande is an amazing house, we loved our experience, because yes it is an experience! The path to Covelinhas is very steep, you have to be careful when crossing cars. The pool is superb, the rooms are all lovely. There are two small cafes nearby but otherwise we travel by car. I would highly recommend it.

The house is full of charm, history and very welcoming with very beautiful view. Regarding the host, Mr.António is one of generosity and friendliness that is not seen, very responsive and always ready to help, made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend!

José's estate is beautiful with stunning views of the hills. The accommodation is very comfortable. And the location is ideal for exploring the local area. José was always very available. Breakfast is included, hearty and delicious. I would highly recommend this rental.

What an amazing place! Everything about our stay was perfect. The location, the communication with the host, the small touches in the apartment on our arrival, the magnificent view, the pool, the comfortable rooms, the cleanliness of the place, the wine, and especially the generosity of the hosts who showed us the facilities where they produce their wines. peaceful location easy walkable area to grocery store and walking trail. spacious and well equipped apartment for my family of 6.

If you want quiet cute old village stay. We stayed for a month and enjoyed watching the river and the start of the changing of the leaves. The house is ready to move in how ever long you want to stay with everything needed. The host is very nice.I would come back

It was a very pleasant stay! It was all super clean, something we highly valued! Having where to park the car next to the house, with its own plaza seemed phenomenal to us!

What about our visit to Nagoselo do Douro! The space was perfect. This small village and the people who live there are even warmer. Katia was always available for us. We had a puncture and she helped us communicate with the rental company. The people in the village helped us too, in the rain! What about Mrs. Isabel, the lady of the small local market. Smiling, thoughtful, and generous. Unable to leave the village without kissing it before leaving. We enjoyed our stay very much. The Douro region is magical, even in early March!

Fantastic apartment right in the heart of charming Vila Real. The place had everything we needed and was an important factor in our enjoyment of the city and our vacation. Highly recommended.

Beautiful view and fantastic pool. House a little older but retains quality. Felipe was fantastic from the booking until the checkout time. I highly recommend!

Valentin is extremely friendly, responsive, helpful and efficient. The house is really very good and the landscape in front of the house is beautiful. A very, very nice place. Valentin also offers Portuguese dishes for delivery. Absolutely delicious! Anyway, I highly recommend it!

Our stay at this place was UNREAL! The views was like something taken from a movie with its hills and scenery. Jose, the host we were in contact with, made the whole stay even better! The wine tour was incredible and informative and having access to the pool during these hot days was incredible. The comments said the pool was private but in the booking it says shared pool. But I imagine the pool is restricted to the ones in the houses, not the camping. Overall, an incredible stay!! Will definitely come back some day!

We enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable and it was nice having two bathrooms. The patio was nice to enjoy too with great views all around. We had a car with us and we're able to park it across the street in an off street parking space. Julio was kind to give us a quick talk about the region and a taste of his delicious port wine.

I can't say enough about how incredible this Airbnb was, Carla and her property were so beyond expectations. My family and I felt extremely comfortable there, it is remote but absolutely beautiful. We were not able to use the pool, because the weather was a little bit cold. I jumped in for like 20 minutes and even though it was cold it was very nice. Carla was so communicative the entire time we were there, she made lots of helpful suggestions and helped us to book a tour around the Douro Valley and surrounding areas. She and a friend also cooked us breakfast every morning, which was delicious and helped us to start our day. 10 out of 10, I would absolutely return.

I don't think you could ever tire of the views from Quinta do Fraguil. They're breathtaking - we kept taking just one more photo! It's so special to be able to see so far into the distance and right down to the bottom of the valley. Even the local viewing point didn't match it! From start to finish, Rui was a friendly and really responsive host. He made us feel confident as soon as we had booked that we were going to be staying somewhere special. He turned up to meet us when we arrived and was in really good contact any time we needed to ask him anything before or during our stay. The pool is a total highlight - a good size and really clean. The house itself was also really clean and tastefully furnished. The outside eating area was perfect and made you feel happy to stay 'at home' and cook! We had sunshine every day and warm evenings sitting outside. This is the sort of place that you feel really sad to leave at the end of your holiday and one that you're very likely to visit again.

Perfect house to stay with your family. Big space with everything you need. I will definitely come back again.

We had a great and peaceful time at Joao's beautiful stone house up in hills. The deck is absolutely gorgeous to hang out with friends and family. We loved the quietness of place. There are no nearby restaurants so make sure to plan the trip accordingly, otherwise it's awesome place to relax unwind and chill.
