Vacation rentals with beach access in Årdal

Everything about the house was great. The only small inconvenience we experienced was with the driveway—it’s quite steep and leads directly to the owner’s garage at the top. Because of that, we had to re-park our car at the bottom of the driveway after dropping off our luggage. Not a big issue, but something to be aware of if you're arriving by car.

Perfect 10 out of 10. Come to stay here if you are visiting Flam!

WOW WOW WOW. I can't even believe we got to stay here. What a privilege! It looks even better than the pictures. The view is unbeatable. Marit was kind and warm, available but not overbearing. I mentioned we were doing the sauna in Aurland (recommend!! Aurland, not Flåm!) and she left towels out for us. messaged to ask how the trip was going and if we needed a shoe dryer. This Airbnb is everything an Airbnb should be and more, Marit is everything an Airbnb host should be and more! Thank you, Marit, for a fantastic stay. Tusen takk!!!

Rune’s place by far is one of our best stays yet! Beautiful surroundings.. Amazing apartment, had everything we needed plus the host was nice to put out a bottle of wine for us! Beds were comfy and also had car charging facilities! A lovely deck to chill on in the evenings was a super plus!

Peder’s guesthouse is cozy and peaceful. The views of the fjord are amazing. The kitchen was well stocked and there were detailed instructions for how to use everything. It makes amazing use of such a small space! We couldn’t have asked for a better spot to stay along our road trip.

Logement très cosy et conforme à la description, literie confortable et propreté impeccable. Situé au calme et à 5 mn à pied du port et de la gare de Flam. Accueil sympathique de notre hôte Thorvald. En résumé un très bon rapport qualité prix pour la Norvège.

This is a wonderful apartment with stunning views of the mountains and fjord. The location is excellent, right in town, close to amenities, yet very quiet. Kai was promptly responsive when we had a few questions and gave clear instructions. This was definitely one of our favorite places in the world to stay!

Absolutely loved my stay At Viktorija’s place! View from window and outdoors was stunning. Private and had everything you needed in kitchenette and bathroom! Would definitely recommend!

Amazing location and super friendly, proactive hosts! The house is decorated with respect for the traditional style. We were welcomed with fresh flowers in every room, fresh apple juice and fruit jam, all produced from around the house.

This was such a wonderful home to stay in for a couple of days. My wife and I stayed here for two nights and enjoyed every moment of it. It is just a 30 mins drive from Aurland / Flam, and even closer to the local town of Lærdal. Fun fact, the world’s longest tunnel is located minutes away from this AirBnB! On the way to Aurland. The house is even better than the photos. It is newly updated with charming furniture through out. The bathroom is spacious and kitchen is fully stocked with a microwave, stove, and fridge. We loved getting to meet Guro’s mom who lives in the neighboring house and their dog as well. She was so sweet and made the experience feel much more like home. It was a pleasure living on an active farm and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Lovely place to stay, well-equipped kitchen and very comfortable accommodation. The views are incredible and Bjørn and Sara were great hosts, very friendly and helpful. The only thing to be aware of is that access to the accommodation is up a very steep grassy slope with no real path or steps. If you have any kind of mobility issues this would not be a suitable place to stay. But if you can handle being a mountain goat for a short distance, this place is worth the effort!

We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return! The home was clean, and well equipped. We spent all of our evenings on the deck enjoying the fresh air and gorgeous view (there was even a heat lamp to keep us warm). The home was a short drive from many hiking and biking opportunities.

Wonderful place to stay. Nice and cosy farmhouse from 19th century, I guess, but renovated with a lot of love. Modern clean and warm bath. There´s even with a old painted door. Everything is beautifully arranged. Parking right in front of the door. Toril lives next door and is a very helpful host. Beautifully located between the lake and the montains, very scenic view. I was there in Winter with two colleagues for ski-touring, but I will return with the family.

Aurland Fjordhutter is simply magical! Tord met us on arrival, showed us around… we were blown away by the view… it’s as if you have the fjord all to yourself! We weren’t brave enough to dip into the fjord but there’s your own private ladder off the deck into the fjord… As far as the accom itself, it was comfortable, clean, practical and well equipped. The upstairs private and sheltered veranda was the perfect location to watch the sun go down.. We were so glad to have stayed in Aurland vs Flåm (we had a car). To escape the hive of tourists (yes noted - we are too!) to this slice of paradise… so added to our time here! Highly recommend

Ein tolles Haus mit ganz besonderer Lage. Mit einer überdurchschnittlichen innen Ausstattung. Eine unglaubliche Aussicht. Und die Nähe zum Wasser ist unschlagbar. Einziges Manko ist der Parkplatz vor dem Haus. Ausparken ist recht schwierig da es direkt an einer Straße mit 80 Zone liegt. Und die sicht durch einen Felsen eingeschränkt ist. Das Boot ist okay und preislich günstig. Aber leider ist das Boot bei Ebbe nur über eine Leiter erreichbar die über dem Wasser Hängt. Und zu einem sehr wackeligen schmalen schwimmsteg führt. Für ältere Menschen oder Kinder nicht geeignet. Hervorzuheben ist noch die Kommunikation mit Hans. Ein wirklich engagierter Vermieter der sich gut um seine Gäste kümmert.

Do. Not. Hesitate. To stay at Ann Iren’s immaculate 1865 cottage right on the fjord! She is a gracious, attentive host, and I now use a word to describe the cottage that I haven’t uttered in many years: charming! We spent four nights touring around the area and simply relaxing. The cottage’s location and ambiance is perfect for both. Many thanks, Ann Iren!!

We loved Trude's place. The view is stunning we took pictures every morning of our stay because it was irresistible. Grocery right next door and 15mins drive to Flam. Trude always responsive to our questions. Highly recommend booking Trude's place.

Wir haben die Unterkunft von Armando sehr genossen. Insbesondere der tolle Blick auf den Fjord, den man auch morgens vom Schlafzimmer hatte, hat uns sehr begeistert. Es ist sehr ruhig gelegen und optimal mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Das separate TV-Zimmer fanden wir abends auch sehr gemütlich. Vielen Dank für alles.

Hadde en natt her og var veldig fornøyd. Fin leilighet med god plassering.

Super hytte med kort vei til skibakker og alt som skjer i Hemsedal. Hytta var kjempekoselig og pent innredet. Hvis vi kan trekke ned på noe er det ekstremt bratt trapp opp til 2. etg. og uteplassen er vendt rett ut mot parkeringsplassen - men dette var ingen problem for oss. Therese har vært helt fantastisk og vi kan absolutt anbefale både hytta og henne som utleier! Vi kommer gjerne igjen! :)

Superbe logement avec vue impressionnante sur le fjord! Nous avons pu profiter de la nature au maximum. Les hôtes étaient très gentils et ils nous ont donné de bons conseils pour des activités dans les environs.

Skøn hytte med moderne og personlig indretning, lige til at bruge. Lækkkert udstyret med opvasker og stort køleskab og fryser. Rent og pænt ved fremmøde og let at rydde op igen. Gode madrasser i sengene og hyggelige møbler i god kvalitet. Yderst tilfredshed herfra. Bjørn svarede hurtigt og imødekommende på spørgsmål. Vi passede godt på det hele.
