Welcome to our tropical oasis, only 800 meters walk to the beach. Our eco-friendly home sits on 1.5 acres of beautiful gardens and features a spacious veranda and private swimming pool. Our home is partially run on solar power and the gardens and swimming pool are fed with collected rainwater. Between dips in the pool and swims at the nearby beach, take a meditative walk among the 40+ coconut trees, tropical flowers, & endless plants. We hope SunPeople serves as a quiet and lovely retreat space.

Little Bali Bofa

'Little Bali Bofa’ is a traditional Balinese Joglo or wooden house built in teak and local mvule. It’s one large open-planned room is perfect for a couple on a romantic getaway or an individual in need of an escape into Nature. With a separate kitchen and compost toilet/shower room which all sit in its own compound within the walls of the ‘Bulloch House’ property but is completely private and secure. A two minute walk to the Beach and a 15 minute drive to Salty's for Kitesurfing and cocktails.

Sanjarah Cottage Delightful Private Pool

Sanjarah Cottage is a delight. It is a wonderfully designed space set in a lush garden , with two en-suite double bedrooms, a gorgeous swimming pool and a long veranda with dreamy day beds. The open plan living room and very well equipped kitchen, offers a great place to chill and the cottage is fully staffed. It’s an easy 20 min walk to the beach and a few minutes to the creek. The Jungalow is a one bedroom dive into a newly planted patch of forest. Enjoy the birds, lizards, steamy heat and outdoor bathroom. It also has occasional (check with host) access to a sea front eating space and a pool. We have five incredibly friendly dogs who may pester you with slobbery kisses. Fabulous little important, in a peaceful area close to the beach. Adhiambo was an incredible host too, always easily contactable and flexible. Charming place to stay in Kilifi. Only (small) issue was with apartment wifi. I went to Kilifi for a four week work trip and the internet was not great for calls so had to hotspot from my phone a lot. OK in general (emails/browsing) but not strong enough for calls. But there is some excellent places/cafes near by with good internet coverage. And when there were a few power cuts Adhiambo was incredibly helpful and responsive with updates.

Our stay at Villa Mkauju was absolutely fantastic! The villa is stunning, offering tranquility and comfort. A big thank you to the wonderful staff who were incredibly attentive and made us feel at home. Special thanks to the owner for maintaining such a beautiful property. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a luxury getaway in Malindi. Can't wait to return!

Ease of access, secure, spotless little gem in Kilifi. Everything was within reach especially kitchen amenities. Rebecca was warm and welcoming, always ready to respond and assist with anything. Easy access to the beach for the morning sunrise. ☀️Wouldn’t mind staying at Zola every time I’m in Kilifi!

Truly Magical! My favourite place to stay in Kilifi. Tucked away privately among the trees, right on the idyllic Bofa beachfront. With a stunning ocean view from upstairs and the ever-present sound of the sea, it’s an incredibly peaceful spot. The layout is perfect—beautifully furnished, with all the amenities you need. The air-conditioned second bedroom downstairs also works brilliantly as an office if you're staying longer and working remotely. George and Kate are absolutely wonderful—can’t say enough good things. I’ve stayed in many places in Kilifi, and this is the one I always want to return to.
