The wonderful forest nearby , the terraces and the house full of plants and love! Absolutely wonderful oasis and this room full of books and intimate. We had a comfortable stay with Anne and Pascal's place. They were very eager to help always, and their affectionate way of treating their guests indeed touched us. Breakfast was simple, with a nice coffee to end with. The place was within a short walkable distance from Gare de Nord station, which was a plus. Although the kitchen was a shared one with the owner, there was no issue in using it as required. Overall a nice stay for us.

Great night at Hélène and Claude's place. The bed is ultra comfortable. They are very welcoming and the breakfast is exquisite. This is one of the BEST airbnb I've ever experienced. They are often sold out by the way. You'll have a choice of lots of homemade jams and delicious homemade bread. If you need to rent bikes, they are very well equipped (to be booked of course). You can safely park your car in their beautiful home. There are many sports activities to do around their home as Fontainebleau is not far away. If I have to come back to Melun, I would come back to their place without hesitation.

Margaret was a wonderful host, and I felt very safe and comfortable staying in her home. It was an easy 10 minute walk from her home to the metro, and she helped me understand the Paris metro system. As a solo traveler, I felt welcomed and protected in her home. It was a joy to stay with Margaret and I hope to go back someday.

We loved our stay at Laurence's home. The location is fantastic, a short walk to pedestrian zones with restaurants and shops, the River Seine near Notre Dame cathedral and other sites; and Metro and bus. The accommodation is clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was excellent in a lovely room overlooking the Saint Jacques tower and park. The space is a little unusual with the bedroom, toilet, and sink/shower all in different rooms off the shared hallway, but Laurence respected our privacy and we felt very comfortable with the set-up. We highly recommend and would love to stay again in the future. Laurence: thank you for being such a friendly and accommodating host - we really enjoyed chatting with you.

The host was so kind... Thank you for providing snacks and jam butter. The location is nice, and the house is so cute, comfortable, and efficient. The bed was spacious, so it was very comfortable, and it was nice to use the bus or subway. The neighborhood is also safe.

We really enjoyed our visit in this calm and clean accommodation. Delicious breakfast and great communication with our host. 100% recommend!

The apartment is well located: it is a 10 min walk from the Accor Arena. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom and toilets too. Very good breakfast. I would recommned this property

Had a great time at Nicolas and Nora's. They are extremely welcoming people. Nicolas even picked me up from the train station. The dinner with Nicolas and Nora's family was very nice. Don't hesitate to stay with them.

A beautiful oasis near Paris! Marie-Hélène and her husband were very welcoming and kind, we felt very comfortable and loved speaking with them. The entire top floor is ours, and there’s even a view of the Eiffel Tower (from far away). The bathroom was very modern and clean- the shower is amazing (very good water pressure). The surroundings are very quiet and it’s 2 minute walk from the train station, with a cheap (2.50 euros) direct train to Paris. The best part of our stay were the breakfasts in the morning outside- Marie-Hélène prepared a nice spread with beautiful place settings every morning. We loved it and highly recommend this place.

Great location in quieter area, only 20- minute walk to Eiffel Tower. Helpful and friendly host, and nice place.

I stayed in this place because of a flight being rescheduled and it was really peaceful. Eléonore even put me in a different room to make sure I wouldn't have to share the kitchen and bathroom space with someone else for most of my stay which I appreciated so much. Check-In was super easy and a lot of nature is closeby. It's also just a 15min taxi ride from the airport so I highly recommend it for staying a night before a flight.

I absolutely loved my stay at Karine's place! After spending time in Paris city center I was so happy i booked her space just outside the city. The apartment is so beautiful, homely, cosy, and equipped with everything you need- and more. I loved the little outside area, the large windows that offer great natural light. The bed was really comfortable, and the room was big enough for one person. I felt right at home in Karine's apartment, using the kitchen space and enjoying her amazing book collection. The area and small town has many great bakeries, restaurants and shops. The apartment is a few minutes walk from various close by bus stations - or a quick 20min walk to a large metro strop. The area is relaxing, quiet and peaceful. I also felt really safe walking at night from the metro stop back to the apartment. I met Karine briefly and wish we had more time to get to know one another. I will be staying in her apartment the next time i have to visit Paris. Thanks Karine!
