This really cute stay makes you feel like you are in a tree house. Lovely huge gallery to relax in not to mention the comfy bed on it! Lovely cool mornings and afternoons spent there! Then there is the hot tub treat in the garden - what more could you want!? The place is nice open plan with a good amount of utensils. There is also a little home made BBQ area, we even ate some of the Caribbean cherries off the surrounding trees! The keyless front door system make is really convenient if your group has different plans as well. The second bedroom is a little tight on overall space but comfortable bed. Ensure to pack mossy spray. Ample number of towels provided for us as well which was a great help. Everyone had a lovely time!

A hidden gem that we’ve visited annually for several years. We wouldn’t trade our week at Twinkle Cottage for anywhere else on the island - and by now we’ve seen a lot! The beach and Loose Cannon Beach Bar are steps away with private cabanas for rent and bottle service, if desired (though the hosts provide beach chairs and a cooler if that’s more your speed. The beach is never crowded. Always beautiful views. And it’s THE SPOT to see sea turtles and spotted eagle rays if you like to snorkel just a few strokes out from the beach and it’s some of the best snorkling on the island. Loads of fantastic restaurants 5-10 min drive in English Harbour. Academy of Rum also right on the beach in front of the cottage if you fancy a class. Rentable kayaks and paddle boards too. Also Sunday night parties at Shirley Heights offer amazing music and dancing with the most stunning views. Not too miss and only a 10 min drive or gorgeous 1 mile hike up a marked wooded path from the cottage.

Stunning location, beautiful beach, one nice beach restaurant. Lovely cottage with a gorgeous view. Clare and Nathan were very helpful hosts. We have a toddler and they made sure extra railings were added to the balcony to make it safe for her. They even included a welcome package of food items for breakfast etc which is a lovely touch :-) and a cleaner is on hand every day too which is another added bonus. Would definitely recommend!

This location was perfect for my kids and I. Walkable amazing snorkeling and amazing natural features of the island. The garden surrounding the house had lots of fun and cute critters to discover. Location is everything especially when traveling with children. This place is amazing.

We had a wonderful stay in this super-charming cottage. Location is great, surrounded by nature but also a 10-minute drive to several nice restaurants. Satriece was very helpful and accommodating. The southern part of the island is the most beautiful and great for hiking. The cottage is hot during the day but cools down at night, we had no problem with sleeping. It's advisable to rent a steady car as the road is not the best. We really recommend staying here if you want to explore beautiful Antigua!

What a wonderful, wonderful experience we (my husband, not yet 2-year old son, and I) had. Hosts Afiya and Asha were so easy to communicate with and so thoughtful. From arrival to departure and everything in between, we were so pleasantly surprised with a better than expected trip. The little touches really felt five star. And the accommodations felt exceptionally comfortable with how clean and nicely designed and well thought out everything was. We spent most of the trip scheming to come back sooner than later! We relaxed “at home,” on “our beach,” around the fire pit, ate from our host mom’s shop, visited the village, visited the Caribbean beach, visited a “nearby” remote bay beach, and still felt like we didn’t cover nearly enough ground!

We had a relaxed stay, right next to the beach. It felt like we had our own private Caribbean beach at times! The cottages are as they look (except they are now painted bright colours!) and described in the listing. Host was very helpful when we were there, providing taxi recommendations and quickly solving some problems. A car is advised as there aren’t many places to walk to nearby (although Dickerson beach is a short walk away, with bars and restaurants there). We had a few days without a car which was fine as we brought food and drinks with us. The local beach is amazing to swim and relax in. We particularly enjoyed sunsets there, using the chairs provided overlooking the beach.

It is hard to express in words what an amazing time I had here. The host/s where so welcoming friendly and helpful. I felt right at home as soon as I arrived. The place is so lovely and the surrounding amazing and so beautiful. The fabulous Darkwood beach restaurant with friendly helpful staff and beach attendants an few minuets walk away. I will be returning and soon.

We had an issue with a stranger who followed us to the Airbnb. The host did a very good job to calling the authorities. We had a overall great stay, nice beach, friendly staff, I would 100% recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage. It is tastefully furnished, and while not a lot of space, uses what it has efficiently. Its location just a short walk from English Harbor / Falmouth Harbor gives it access to a decent grocery store, many dining options and cafes. Also just a short walk to Nelson’s Dockyard. We were glad we stayed in this part of the island- and glad of the nice location there. Robertha the local contact was responsive and helpful and nearby if you needed something. If I had any knock on the place it’s that due to the nearby houses and trees it has a limited view— but this also affords a sense of privacy including for example a dedicated/gated parking area. So if you want to watch the boats sail by at sunset this may not be the place for you— but we felt the trade off with a great location and well appointed place was worth it. Thanks.

I stayed here with my mum and dad (mid-60s) and we had a really great week! Just perfect for what we wanted, a week relaxing in the sun. Na-Ajele’s father Pascal, who lives nearby, was more than helpful and even offered us delicious bbq fish one day! Darkwood beach is just a 15 minute walk away, and Fryers beach about 25 minutes by foot. It’s a good idea to rent a car so you can see the island at your leisure. The only inconvenience is that the nearest restaurant that can be reached by foot is closed at night. I recommend this place for people that want to stay in tranquility away from the tourist crowd, that like cooking at home (there’s well equipped kitchen) and are happy in basic yet spacious accommodation. Don’t expect luxury but do expect peace and nature here!

My family and I stayed here for 7 days and had a great experience. Sitting out on the balcony and watching the sea was amazing. Our Host Mr. Curtis was the best!! He was friendly and very responsive. A storm came and fried the tv. He came and changed it out immediately. Additionally when we had car troubles and needed gas, I called to see if he could help. He quickly sent someone to bring us gas and it was such a life saver. I’m not a fan of the steep hill, however my family and I would def stay here again, solely because of how great Mr. Curtis was!

We visited Barbuda while doing some island hopping in January and stayed at Harry’s cottages. Wendy was our host and she was friendly and helpful, made us coffee in the morning and recommended and contacted local guides for us to do the exploring we went there for. Everything g was perfect!!! I highly recommend staying here it is right near the ferry and so perfect!
