West Virginia Gold (lower unit)

Ashley, Neil and Jane were responsive, helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable and well-cared for during our three weeks in their rental. The unit is in a beautiful and peaceful location along the Potomac River and was spotlessly clean and well appointed and supplied. As other reviewers have noted, the beds were very comfortable. We would stay there again and highly recommend the unit to others.

Elevated Potomac River Retreat

Beautiful spot if you’re looking to be in the middle of nowhere and the middle of everything at the same time! Spent time exploring Shepherdstown, Sharpsburg, Boonsboro and Harper’s Ferry (all within 30 mins!) yet still felt secluded on this little home off the beaten path. Beautiful home, great host. We loved our stay at C & O abode. It was exactly as described and as the pictures showed. The house is beautiful with amazing amenities such as heated floors, room darkening shades, sound machines in every room and toys and books in the kids room. We enjoyed the peaceful setting and beautiful decor. Jen was very responsive and even sent a long list of recommendations for things to do! The kids loved the crystal grotto caverns and the arial adventure park. Also highly recommend Harper’s ferry brewing for locals beers and delicious pretzels! We look forward to staying here again in the future.

The cottage was well maintained. We loved sitting on the front porch listening to the birds while reading our books. It was a relaxing weekend away.

Escape from the City. Mountain Farmhouse Suite

We loved staying at Jairo’s farm. He upgraded us at the last minute to a larger place on the same property and it was great to have the extra room. We wanted a quiet, calm environment and his farm is great for that. It suited our needs very well! We got the impression that the farm is a work in progress so we hope to visit again and see how it takes shape!
An outdoor space is featured, showcasing a fire pit surrounded by stone pavers. Red patio chairs are positioned nearby, with a view of a wooden fence and lush greenery beyond. A gate is visible in the fencing, providing access to the adjacent area.

Trailhead Hideaway

This is definitely a hidden gem. You’re a two min drive from Harper’s Ferry and if you love history you’ll want to visit. We were running a race and this was the perfect spot to head back to after.
