Modern furnished house & nature pool & views

JordyRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Great modern house with all the comforts. It seemed difficult to find in advance, but was very easy to find afterwards. Pool not used (too cold). The host had prepared delicious breakfast and dinner (for a fee). The horses in the meadow around the house as well as the tranquility and the view the valley in amazing. Everything fenced for the dog. Sitting outside under the canopy with a blanket with welcome drink and snack :D We have plans to go in November instead of 2 nights, a week...
An aerial view of a historic castle is depicted, surrounded by lush greenery and hills. The sturdy stone structure showcases various towers and walls, hinting at its storied past. The landscape is highlighted by a mixture of trees and open spaces, offering a serene atmosphere.

A great birthday weekend! This place is full of charm. The estate is peaceful, the house beautiful, well thought out and carefully decorated – perfect for feeling good from the moment you arrive. We didn't miss a thing. Small detail to note: the information on the deposit check was not initially specified in the listing, but it was added later, which is nice. Thanks again for this beautiful stay, we're leaving with the desire to come back!

A narrow path is flanked by stone walls, leading towards a scenic view of rolling green hills at sunset. Soft light casts warm tones on the surrounding surfaces, while vibrant foliage and flowers are present on either side of the pathway.

Charming stone house

JudyRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Gave full stars overall as the house is comfortable, clean and authentically French is a beautiful village and surroundings. Drawbacks for us were probably due to lack of research on our part and making assumptions. Personally I would not have chosen a property without internet for a week’s stay. I failed to spot this lack of inclusion at the end of all the details. My phone signal was not the best here either. There are quite a few stairs to a couple of bedrooms if mobility is an issue. Thanks to Fiona for heating the property well as the March nights were quite chilly !

Maison Céleste along the river Dordogne

MichaelRating, 5 stars6 days ago
From our initial enquiry Thomas was responsive and helpful. Upon arrival we were greeted by Thomas and felt straight at home. The house itself is equipped with everything you would need and the decor is lovely throughout. The area around the house is vast and there are many different spots to sit and relax. There is some traffic noise to be heard from the road. From the canoes sailing down the river to the hot air balloons and the incredible scenery, it’s just magnificent. The house is well situated near to dozens of local villages, gardens, castles, shops and restaurants. We weren’t short of anything to do for the 2 weeks we were here. Thank you for creating such a beautiful home in the Dordoigne.
