Large windows allowing a beautiful brightness as well as a beautiful view on a woodland. Access to the St-Jean River just steps from the chalet! Also Mount Edouard is only 8.7 km away. There is the possibility of hiking, snowshoeing, skiing as well as access for nearby snowmobiles. There is also a range of activities in the surroundings.

We had a fantastic stay at Kanawata. The cottage was beautiful - very spacious, amazing amenities, comfortable, clean and beautiful views and surroundings. The pool table and arcade games were a big hit with our kids (who are in their early twenties), and the sauna and hot tub were a bit hit with all of us. The surroundings are spectacular, with lots of hiking trails nearby. The town of La Malbaie was about a 15 minute drive with lots of shops and restaurants. Sylvie was an excellent host - very responsive and gave us lots of great local recommendations. I would highly recommend if you are visiting the region with a larger group - any time of year!

We rented the site to accommodate workers, the cottage was new, clean and well-equipped, nothing was missing. The hosts were responsive, I recommend for hosting workers but also for exploring a beautiful area as a tourist.

A shaded outdoor patio area is visible, featuring two black chairs positioned on a concrete slab. Sunlight filters through nearby trees, casting soft shadows across the space. The surrounding landscape includes grassy patches and distant views of the nearby buildings and hills.

2nd stay for us at Stéphane and Julie's in their charming cottage in Anse Saint-Jean. Everything was perfect! Well-equipped kitchen for cooking, fireplace (with very dry wood that burns well!), nice rooms, and everything decorated for Christmas, which we enjoyed (especially the little clothesline with elf clothes drying above the wood stove...!). Stéphane communicates well and is very quick to respond. Cottage on a quiet little street 10 minutes from Mont Édouard, and 4 minutes from the village (grocery store, Camp de Base restaurant, gas station). Thank you for everything! We'll definitely be back! :)
