Our stay in this beautiful cottage was just great. The accommodation is cozy and very clean. The location is ideal – quiet and idyllic, but still well connected. We particularly liked the proximity to the zoo in Emmen, which we could easily reach. The charming cheese shop was also a great insider tip from Anne-Marie. Typically, in addition to the cheese, we also bought an Old Jenever, the traditional Dutch juniper, and had Hagelslag for breakfast. And of course, the hot tub was just fantastic for relaxing. For nature lovers, the nearby forest is ideal for walks or bike rides. We enjoyed the peace and the fresh air very much. Anne-Marie and Marnix were super friendly and helpful, communication was straightforward and they responded quickly. There wasn't even a bottle of sparkling wine on arrival 😊 Conclusion: An absolutely recommended accommodation, we will be happy to come back.

We had a nice few days at Jan's. The apartment offers everything you could ever need. In the village there is everything you need. Emmen is also easy to reach. It's nice to have peace and quiet for a while if you're used to big city noise!

We enjoyed our stay at TheDa's place. It is a brand new apartment that has a clever layout and is lovingly furnished. You have everything you need and feel right at home. Within walking distance you are right in the city center. Communication with Theda was always quick and very friendly. We can recommend this place without hesitation!

So here we felt right at home! Loving design in everything as well as perfect cleanliness make the arrival as in a 2nd home very easy. Very good instructions, very clear and complete, no questions remain unanswered! The restaurant tips were all super good and we always had a good time on the excursions - favorites: Restaurant Kabajs and Castos, walk on the wall, of course the art gallery... Excursions to the north/Norddeich, Aurich and Greetsiel were also great. The most wonderful thing was the incredible friendliness of the East Frisians, consistently and simply pleasant to spend a relaxing time in the fresh North Sea air. Glad to come back!

Marion is a super host. Friendly and nice. She even allowed us to park the bikes in the garage overnight.

We felt very comfortable in Marcel's apartment. It looks exactly as it appears in the photos and as described in the description. It is totally clean and very modernly furnished, you can also reach everything on foot. Marcel responds quickly and addresses concerns. We had a great time, even though the weather wasn't optimal :)

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was as described and Janna and Christof took great care of us. Would happily do it again!

Unfortunately, we didn't get to meet Günther, but his wife. She was an amazing host. We were greeted with our house names at the front door. 😊 In the fridge, there was a bottle of summer beer, a bottle of sparkling wine, candies, chocolate and a large piece of Frisian cake for us. Simply fantastic!!!! The apartment and terrace were a dream. Magnificent view of the Larreelter Deep. We will be happy to come back.

We were traveling with two small children. The house was perfectly furnished, equipped for our needs and even in bad weather there were plenty of excursion destinations in the area (e.g. indoor playground, swimming pool). We will be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful week. The house has all the comforts, including a very nice kitchen. Also nice was the sun in the front garden, where we could have breakfast quietly. The location is nice and quiet, so we were able to sleep really well. In the area we enjoyed the nature, the tranquility and the friendly people. The reception was warm and personal, even our dog Bettie received a warm welcome. All in all recommended, we will definitely come back. Finally, I would like to mention Dokkum, a very nice town with special shops and good restaurants. Thank you Coen and Anne (and Marianne) for this beautiful, wonderful week. We felt very comfortable in Marie-Luise's house. Nordic, quiet and idyllic. Walks, bike rides or just relax in one of the many seating areas...and we could also make music without neighbors.

Comfortable apartment in a perfect location - quietly located, but very well suited as a starting point for activities by car, bike or on foot. We were able to safely park our bicycle and car on or at the premises. In very good weather, we enjoyed the time on the terrace. Overall, we had a very good time in the beautiful apartment. Marion was always available for questions. Arrival and departure went absolutely smoothly. We will definitely be back! What I personally noticed; the apartment was larger than it appeared to me in the pictures, which of course we were very happy about.

We spent a weekend with two families including four children. Location is beautiful, quiet yet close to all amenities. The accommodation is very complete and equipped with every comfort. The children have enjoyed the space with table tennis table, pool table and shuffleboard for hours. Ideal when it was raining outside. The horses outside were also very popular with the children. The sauna and plunge pool for the parents made the house complete. Mieke is very hospitable and gave us good tips for the surroundings. We had a fantastic weekend. The kids can't wait to go again. THANKS for the hospitality Mieke!

I really enjoyed it and am happy to recommend the apartment. My dog and I were guests in this beautiful, old and spacious building with great garden and outdoor seating for 2 months. Jolanda's place was perfect for our 1 month stay. The patio was great for sunny breakfasts. Small town with everything you need. We made some great friends in town. Lively on weekends and quieter during the week. Centrally located to other fun towns. There is about a 10 min walk to the train station. Highly recommend this Airbnb and town.
