This is our happy place and we hope you will love it, too! Our secluded house by the lake is two bedroom (one master with a king-size and a 2nd bedroom with 4 kid bunk beds, room to sleep on the couch, too), two bath, full kitchen, washer, dryer, games, gas fire pit, deck, deck by the lake, dock, tall trees, and tranquility. Near the south end of the lake and it is shallow. Great fishing. THE HOUSE HAS A FAINT CIGARETTE SMELL. FEW NOTICE. DO NOT BOOK IF YOU HAVE ANY SORT OF SMOKE SENSITIVITIES.

Had a great time. Everyone was very pleased with the home, location, and space available. Very close to town but yet still felt like we were in the country. Was amazing. Will 100% select same home and host for our next visit. 10/10.

The only issue that I had was getting the electric fence turned off. I didn't know exactly where to look and it was late in the evening when I arrived. But once I called Paula, everything was perfect. Great place....Great host....Great experience.

I brought my 10 year old beagle hound Murray here to celebrate a decade together and I'm so glad we did! Christy has 4 nice small dogs that my dog got to run around with. Both me and my dog got to swim and then walk the trail in the woods together to the bridges and the creek. My dog very much enjoyed walking around the property and smelling everything! Christy was available if needed and provided some snacks too which was nice. If you want to do something special for your dog, the Dawg House makes a great choice!

Historic, Trendy Home in Central Location

Stayed here for 3.5 months (nearby contract work.) Old, but charming/'homey' house with wood floors, etc. I like old houses. Lauren was very responsive to questions and needs, e.g., getting a new toaster, knife sharpener, bottled water refills for the dispenser .... Worked with me to set up space for my cycling trainer in one of the bedrooms. Commercial grade top load washer and dryer were very useful. Comfortable bed. Lots of kitchen equipment to go with the gas range. Internet bandwidth/connectivity were solid. All streaming experiences were high quality. No dishwasher, which wasn't a big deal for one guy who got a lot of takeout food. Low ground clearance cars need to park at the curb because the driveway will bottom them out, but the curb was fine and consistently accessible. Yard in front and back are well maintained. Would definitely stay here again if I return for similar contract work.
