Monthly Rentals in Anahawan Island

Not really sure any words I say will properly explain this slice of paradise. We stayed for 5 days with my 2 kids and their grandpa and we all wish it was 5 weeks. This isn’t a place if you’re looking to be pampered or for gourmet restaurants. It’s an Island experience from the accommodations to the food. Simple but unbelievably amazing. The catch is you fall in love with everything and everyone you encounter. Disconnected and somehow the most lively any one of us felt in our life. The food fantastic and on the cheap side, the rooms were simple but you’ll stay on the most wonderful beach that no Insta photo could do justice and the stories David tell could be a novel that’s still unwritten. I fear that when this spot gets discovered it will change but I hope it stays exactly as is. Beautiful children playing all day with a cold beer in my hand as my kids connect to a way of life no movie could ever capture. One thousand thankyous to David and his family. We will forever be changed❤️

Cathy was very friendly, accommodating and welcoming upon our arrival. She took time out to welcome us, show us to our villa and helped us get inside. She showed us around the villa with all it amenities, also provided us with a booklet containing lots of very useful and helpful information regarding the island. The villa was exactly as described and shon in the photos, the placement of the villa was perfect, peaceful and scenic. I would highly recommend booking with villa if you’re staying in Siargao. It is around a 10-15 minute ride in a tuk-tuk to general luna, but well worth it.

We had a wonderful stay here! We were a multi family/multigenerational group of 7 so it was nice to have multiple rooms for everyone to have their own space. The staff at the mahogany house were very accommodating and helpful and Jens was always responsive online and checking in on us! The outdoor shower is also a nice touch to have after spending a day on the water before heading inside. The only issue we had during our time here were with the electricity/AC, and the staff were able to assist us in a reasonable amount of time each time we had an issue, even after hours. The AC unit in the room with double beds is different from the other 2 rooms and sometimes stopped working for us, but was easily fixed by the staff.

You can feel the love and care the hosts put into every detail, from the cozy furnishings to the peaceful outdoor spaces. The hosts were incredibly kind . Thank you for creating such a beautiful, relaxing sanctuary!
