In-law Suite in Century-old Home

DianaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Burcu’s beautifully renovated private English basement. This is located in a beautiful home and Burcu was a very kind and responsive host always checking in to see if we needed anything. In terms of location, so many amenities and personal touches in a completely modernized space, you can’t beat this listing. This is on a gorgeous, quiet block in the Trinidad neighborhood of DC with a private entrance from the street and key pad entry as described in the listing. Being a regular DC visitor, even in the best DC neighborhoods, each block can be vastly different. For those with mobility issues there is a small but somewhat steep entrance to the main door but off the sidewalk. The main door has a large uncovered window and does look right into the street from the living room. However, I loved the abundance of natural light in this home so it depends on preference. Home was always kept very comfortable and cool but the thermostat controls are not located in

private suite with free parking

This place is small but I I expected that coming in. It looked just like the pictures. It was a really good place and close to my family and walkable to local stores and carry out restaurants. Only a couple miles from the main DC attractions. I would recommend for a 1 person or couple trip to DC.

Spacious H Street Corridor English Basement

NickRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a great stay! The location was easy to find and incredibly walkable, perfect for exploring the city. The street was quiet both day and night, yet just a short walk from the lively H Street corridor, which made for a peaceful and convenient visit. We were able to walk to Union Station in about 15 minutes, and H Street offered plenty of great dining options right around the corner, along with several grocery stores nearby. The unit itself was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. If you're looking for a calm, neighborhood-style experience rather than a busy, commercial vibe, this is a great choice. The only downside was parking, it can be tricky due to the nearby school and limited street availability in a busy residential area.

Ryan was an excellent host, very attentive and always available. His place is perfect, with a great location, nearby bus stops, and a charming neighborhood. The space is comfortable, cozy, and tastefully decorated, with great amenities. The portable heater was especially helpful during our stay. Without a doubt, you won’t regret staying here.

City-chic parkside flat near iconic DC landmarks

VanessaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
The apartment was impeccably clean, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. Christopher was very responsive and provided great local sites for our sightseeing plans. Christopher guided us to several of his dining favorites. The flat was spotless and decorated with a modern touch. Christopher included snacks, which was helpful while we decided our next adventure of the day. Bed was super cozy. Furniture was comfortable and clean! We felt safe in the neighborhood. Neighbors were very friendly. A must stay for sure! You will feel right at home your entire stay! Way to go Christopher, job well done!

Modern, urban retreat in D.C.

AshleyRating, 5 starstoday
Doug's place had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Spacious, moden and clean. The location was perfect and definitely recommended for going to a festival at RFK(only an 8 minute drive). Having off-street parking was convenient. There did seem to be plenty of space on the street as well. The walls are a bit thin- we could hear everytime someone used the stairs in the apartment above/next to us but we slept with a white noise machine so it really didn't bother us too much just worth noting. Overall a really great place, would stay again!
