Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Ammerschwihr

Very cozy and comfortably furnished cottage. Beautiful views. We had cozy downstairs neighbors who mowed the grass. (A small herd of sheep). Wonderfully quiet area and yet cozy restaurants nearby. You can enjoy hiking and cycling and nice places to visit Munster and especially Colmar.

We wanted a place to have some peace and quiet in the middle of nature and that is exactly what Amélie’s place is. She lives right next to the stay, however she fully respected our privacy. Amélie explained us very clearly how everything works in the house (dry toilet, how to light and manage the fire place). There is no fridge, but there is a cool room + a water fountain in which you can put the food and it preserves cold. Amélie was very friendly and we communicated very well. All in all, our experience was very nice and we hope to return some day.

We were a family of seven and the house was perfect. Very spacious and extraordinarily beautiful. The surrounding area is just amazing nature with a lovely city a few minutes drive. Beautiful trails around and cute coffee shops and restaurants and supermarkets in the towns around. Everything in the house worked well and was top quality. Anne was very helpful and nice. We would love to come back❤️

My husband and I stayed at this home and had an excellent experience all around. The house was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed to cook and enjoy a relaxing stay. Nothing was missing. The hosts were incredibly kind and attentive. They have a lovely garden, which we truly enjoyed — a peaceful spot to unwind. They also surprised us several times with fresh salads and homemade fruit jams, a thoughtful gesture we really appreciated. The location was perfect. Being so close to Colmar made it ideal for visiting not only the city itself but also the charming villages along the Alsace Wine Route. It was also a great base for day trips to Mulhouse, as well as towns in nearby Switzerland and Germany. We would absolutely recommend this place. It was a peaceful, comfortable stay with warm, thoughtful hospitality that really made a difference.

Guillaume is a great host. The place is amazing and had everything we needed. It's very private and there are no neighbours, so it's perfect for a retreat. Guillaume showed and explained everything to us during check-in, so we felt right at home. It's a large but still comfortable place with lots of fun activities in and around the house. He even accommodated an early check-in and late check-out for us.

Very warm welcome from Nadège who does not hesitate to take her time to advise us on places to visit in the area. Cozy, clean and ideally located cottage in relation to the many hikes and visits to do without doing many kms. The dishes are complete and the laundry smells good. I won't forget to mention the excellent homemade kouglof accompanied by a local crémant offered upon arrival. Everything was perfect. We highly recommend it to nature lovers. Thanks again Nadège. We had a lovely holiday at Melissa's place. It has a great garden, where no passers-by pass, so that our dog also has a very relaxed time. Since we always cook, we enjoyed the great kitchen with the adjoining winter garden, but of course also the large wooden terrace with a large umbrella and beautiful garden furniture. The bakery and small supermarket are a 5-minute walk. The house is located on the outskirts of the village, so you can quickly walk with the dog over meadows and fields. We went hiking and cycling and looked at the many beautiful places. The house is ideal for that. Colmar is only 15 km away and Haut Königbourg, Ribeauvillé, Riquewihr are even closer. Also easily accessible by bicycle. If you want to go out to eat, we recommend the "La Truite" in the neighboring town of Illhäusern. Communication with Melissa was excellent. We highly recommend a stay.

Sylvette is a beautiful friendly person. We loved the place and she welcomed us with fantastic wine, cooled fruit juice for kods and kuglof cake. Everything was spottless. The place is cosy, kids enjoyed the playground, great wineries nearby, great restaurants, close to many beautiful cities and villages. We enjoyed are staying, we wish it was longer. Perfect stay! The apartment is spacious, clean, very well arranged and as described. It is very functional, there are all the necessary utensils and machines in perfect quantity and has all the necessary basic amenities. The property is perfect for families. There is a large yard, a covered outdoor area, a swimming pool as well as lots of outdoor games/toys. Jean and Samia are responsive and very kind. We enjoyed a tajine and a seasonal cake made by Samia. The apartment is conveniently located for different excursions. We 200% recommend this listing.

Lydia and Russel are adorable landlords of a lovingly furnished cottage. We felt very comfortable when we arrived. The apartment is furnished with beautiful older furniture. Everything you need is there. We had the small oven on in the evening, which was very comfortable. When the weather is nice, you can also sit outside the house. It was very cozy and the exchange with Lydia and Russel very warm. A place to come back to. Thanks so much for you two.

The house is located in a very quiet place with relative commercial activity, but it is very close to many nearby villages that are very picturesque and with shops and restaurants to enjoy... and all this is no more than 15 minutes away by car... the house is very well summarized, with a huge garden and a comfortable interior... very balanced value for the money... we enjoyed touring all the areas.

We were very warmly welcomed and guided directly through the rooms, which immediately gave us a good feeling. The accommodation was fully equipped – we especially liked the beautiful, well-equipped kitchen. It really had everything you need. The outdoor area is a real highlight: the garden is very well maintained, invites you to relax and offers a fantastic view. Overall, the Airbnb is located in a quiet residential area, which is very pleasant – but you should also be careful not to be too loud yourself. The fitness equipment is a nice extra and perfectly sufficient for a small workout – but it could be oiled again :) Overall, we had a very nice stay and would definitely recommend the place! Everything was right here.

The place is great for a few days of outdoor getaways. A perfect little cocoon to unwind. We were very pleasantly surprised by this cozy little place.

Even before our arrival our host was communicative and provided all the information needed. We arrived in the late afternoon and enjoyed the straight forward check in which was explained to us up front. The property is nicely presented with a lot of open space, great natural light due to the large glass doors and amble amenities. The log fire oven is a special treat during a cool evening. The bedrooms are of generous size and the beds comfortable. I also enjoyed the gym which was quite well equipped. The host checked a few times about our wellbeing but we didn’t experience any problems. Overall, the house had all we needed and is situated in a quiet area but not too far from a few local shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks to a great host.

Perfect accommodation! We found it even better in real life than in the photos! Nothing was missing, everything was provided: bed linen, bathrobes, towels, flip-flops. Very responsive host! Everything is there for a wonderful stay! We'll be back if we have a chance! Go there without so much as a second thought! You won't be disappointed!

We were with 5 people in the apartment of Boris. In the middle of Kayserberg, but still easily accessible by car, in an old house with modern equipment, everything worked well, it was quiet and everything within walking distance. Top recommended.
