Condo vacation rentals in Amhara

I had an interesting experience staying in Addis for two months with Sima and her German friend Julia. Sima's brother picked me up from the airport and Sima was always available to help me with my daily needs. The neighbourhood looks not so bad, safe and very Ethiopian. =) Of course, I encountered the typical Addis Ababa problems with water, internet and electricity but it wasn't critical and with a local SIM card and VPN it was suitable for my remote work.

I have already written a review of my first week on Bamlak's Airbnb. Whatever I said in that review stands and applies to my stay from December 19 to January 5, 2024.

I had an exceptional experience during my 3 weeks stay at Bemni's Airbnb in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Bemni proved to be an exceptionally friendly, attentive and respectful host who consistently prioritised the well-being of her guests. The house is perfectly located in a vibrant neighbourhood with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance, including some famous names. One of the outstanding features of the accommodation is the well-equipped communal kitchen, complete with all the necessary appliances and designated storage space for personal belongings in the cupboards and fridge. In addition, the location offers convenient access to various bus routes, including the local Uber service. Bemni, a warm and caring individual, takes great pride in maintaining the cleanliness of the communal areas, ensuring that the kitchen is always spotless. I would highly recommend Bemni's place to anyone looking for accommodation in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

I had one of my best time staying at Yabeshawork’s place. There is a great sense of home and she went beyond to take care of me like her daughter. She has an amazing life story and loving extensive family. I will never forget her hospitality and warmth and all the local activities we did together!! I did not expect this as part of my Airbnb experience. Thank you, my Addis mom 🥰🙏💝

We were the first guests, and the house was literally new. The Selamsew and Sisay welcomed us in person, checked up on is during our entire stay and were very responsive. The house was a 11/10, and had extra amenities like monitors which we used for work, and very fast internet I will definately come back to Addis and I hope to stay here again ❤️

This place was incredible amazing, quite, in the center of the town, and cozy. The host was very helpful in every aspect. It’s a place I recommend and would stay again.

This was our second stay at Happy's and Emy's apartment. Very central location, close to Meskal square and not too far from the airport with many little supermarkets nearby. The apartment is very spacious and clean, with plenty of amenities. Emy and Happy were very kind and accommodating to our needs. Highly recommend for your stay in Addis

The owner is very good, especially warm and welcoming!Apart from the frequent water outages and the stair exercises on the 13th floor, this place is highly recommended, and it's very convenient to shop downstairs!The kitchen is large and fully equipped!

The flat is beautifully designed and decorated. It is well equipped of all utensils you may need to cook and the host Merry is responsive and serviceable. The flat has a good view of Addis and close to the prestigious British school. The neighborhood is safe and clean. At night there are lights everywhere. The place is worth the price.

If you have lived in Ethiopia previously this place is great and have all the basic needs. Great location in the center of the city. Kitchen needs larger cook area.. maybe an L shape counter would have given more space.

Michael is a very responsive host. His place is great for the price. It is closed to downtown. I would highly recommend this place for short or long stay in Addis Ababa.

Our week in Addis Abeba was made unforgettable thanks to this perfect apartment. Situated on the 6th floor, the apartment offered a breathtaking view that amazed us anew each morning. The bright, spacious ambiance made it the perfect retreat for the two of us, with the large living room and the comfy sofa. The kitchen was not just large, but also equipped with everything needed for daily life - a dream for anyone who loves to cook, like us. The bedroom was a quiet oasis for relaxation, complemented by an en suite bathroom that added to our comfort. Furthermore the communication with Ahlam was seamless, and she proved to be a wonderfully attentive host. This apartment was the perfect base for exploring Addis Abeba, while also providing a cozy place to which we loved returning. We highly recommend this place and would definitely book it again on our next visit.
