Cosy house with stunning views

Our house, built in 1925, has amazing panoramic views on to the highest peaks in the Pyrenees and is a comfortable family home with an open plan living area, a balcony and scenic garden. Artigue is set at 1200m in the central Pyrenees. The village is small but the neighbours are friendly and there are endless lovely walks from the doorstep. Bagneres de Luchon is a 15 minute drive away, where there are many bars and restaurants, a couple of supermarkets and lots more walking trails.

Experience the real France. Large sixteenth century house, small sunny and secluded garden, barn. Modern bathrooms and a very high comfort rating with guests e.g. "Best equipped house I have ever stayed in." (August, 2016). Great village with shops, a cafe. Excellent for visiting the Mediterranean beaches, Carcassonne, the Pyrenees, and the Minervois vineyards. Nearest airports Carcassonne (15 mins) and Toulouse (1h 20). Ski resorts are a 15 min drive to the nearest Porté Puymorens. This house is part of a set of two identical, perfectly independent holiday homes.

In the heart of the Cathar castles, we are 45 minutes from the city of Carcassonne and 1 hour 15 minutes from the seaside resorts and ski resorts. The house is located in a quiet subdivision, close to the post office, bakery, stadium, playground, convenience store. We don't accept pets as well as parties, bachelor and bachelorette parties...
