The nearby Rhön with its biosphere reserve as well as the ski and toboggan arena on the Wasserkuppe are about 35 minutes. Fulda is about 15 minutes by car.

The "Apfelbaum" holiday flat is located in Medelon, in the beautiful Orketal valley surrounded by wooded mountains. The cosy apartment on the first floor has a living area with sofa bed for one person, a fully equipped kitchenette with dishwasher as well as 1 bedroom and a bathroom with shower and thus offers space for up to 3 people. In our seating and barbecue area by the babbling brook, you can relax and enjoy your evening with a glass of wine.

Cozy family friendly house

The place is situated in a suburban-to-rural setting, not much traffic. Nearby there is a small amusement park »Lochmühle«, the Hessenpark (an open air museum) and the Opel Zoo They're all about half an hour away (by car). The house is fit for two adults and two children (up to around 14 and around 18, respectively). Four adults just don't fit, sorry. But then: we have free Wi-Fi and a coffee- and a tea-flatrate ;)
