I had a great stay at Marylena’s place. It’s a very peaceful and beautiful property. I saw so many beautiful birds there, that I didn’t need to book a bird tour. Marilyn was very communicative and even helped me organize transportation, as well as, set up a tour for Barbara Bremen Reserve. ( I had a great trip with Louis from the local tour company Caminatas & Adventuras ). I can definitely recommend staying here and hope to stay here again someday. Marylena is a very kind and communicative person.

A gorgeous house in a gorgeous natural setting. The kitchen is well-stocked for at-home meals. Filandia is a short 12 minute drive. And the location is perfectly situated to reach all sights in the Eje Cafetero. Wi-fi was fast and we appreciated NOT having TV so that we could enjoy the space. Beds were comfortable. We loved daily visits from our neighbor’s dog. Very private setting. A few notes: we had trouble with water temperature (either in extremely hot or extremely cold), the stovetop was difficult to get lighted or stay lit, and we never figured out the oven even after instructions from the host. All things that could easily be addressed. Otherwise, I 100% recommend.

I loved my stay! The place combines modern architecture with elegant and very tasteful decoration, creating a cozy and sophisticated atmosphere. What fascinated me the most was the view from the third-floor room: simply spectacular. I also really enjoyed the patio, its garden and the night lighting, which give it a special charm. The location is ideal, just four blocks from the main park. The host, Olga, was always very attentive to communication, resolving our concerns with kindness and was flexible with the check-out time. I loved this place and will definitely be back when I return to Finland.
