We discovered our cottage in the beautiful Westerwald by chance in 2019 – and immediately fell in love. Between March 2020 and August 2021, we transformed it with a lot of passion and attention to detail into a place where you can relax and recharge your batteries. For me – Janine, a trained hotel manager – it is particularly important to bring people closer to the small and large beauties of life: through time for themselves, with the family or simply in nature. Whether alone, as a couple or with children: our cottage invites you to switch off, feel, pause. A place to find yourself (again) – and to celebrate life.

Your vacation starts right away in the new, stylishly and comfortably furnished apartment. Located in a quiet residential area directly on the Rothaarsteig, you can start hiking and cycling tours right away. The apartment has one bedroom, a guest room for 2 additional guests, a large bathroom with a tub, a guest toilet with a shower, a living/dining room (with a wood-burning stove) and a southwest-facing balcony. You can grill and enjoy the sun on the large southeast-facing terrace. The kitchen is comfortably furnished.

The house was built in 1964 by our grandparents and was substantially renovated in 2023. Its highlights are: sauna, jacuzzi, gym, gas barbecue, diverse media & gaming offers (Smart TVs, soundbar, Nintendo Switch, Netflix, 150 TV channels, foosball table, table tennis, Darts, board games)

In the rugged Upper Westerwald, directly on the wild and romantic Holzbach Gorge, where the Holzbach stream has carved its bed into the basalt over the millennia, the days are simply different. Longer, more eventful, more relaxing. Feel at home here and experience a special place to recharge your batteries, strength, and inspiration. A fire pit with firewood, a swivel grill and a kettle grill are available. Towels and bed linen are provided upon request (for an additional charge).

Welcome to our stylish & cozy Basalt barn on the Gelbachhöhen in the beautiful Westerwald! A special retreat in the middle of the Nassau Nature Park. Large kitchen, fireplace, piano, "Irish Pub", balcony and garden and nature right outside the door are waiting for you. Hiking trails, the nearby forest and attractive excursion destinations in the Westerwald invite you to explore. The accommodation was designed with a lot of love for detail. The house shines with independence and special character. The house is heated with a wood pellet heating system. The electricity is generated by a hydroelectric power station adjacent to the valley mill. Sandbox, barbecue area in the garden, table tennis, table soccer, plenty of space to play and direct access to cycling and hiking trails offer you the conditions for a pleasant stay. Our stylishly furnished apartment is located in the beautiful, rural Lochum, near the small town of Hachenburg. Experience the beauty of our Westerwald nature. In the immediate vicinity is the Westerwald Lake District with, among other things, the Dreifelder Weiher. Numerous cycling and hiking trails, including the Westerwaldsteig, are also on the doorstep. Very nice old building apartment for two to four guests in a historic mill. Perfect for a hiking vacation or relaxation. In a picturesque location, outside the Westerwald town of Hachenburg with its picturesque market square and the open-air museum. Close to Marienstatt Monastery. Located directly on the Westerwaldsteig. Quiet and steeped in history. The first Chancellor of the FRG, Konrad Adenauer, stayed here. A commemorative plaque on the house commemorates his stay.
