The reviews led me to Pranav’s place, and they were spot on. It’s an amazing stay with an extremely helpful staff. Big shout-out to the young managers — Nikhil and Vicky — young, yet impressively seasoned. The entrance gate for the Kasar Devi trek is just a few meters away, making it super convenient. The in-house dining is great, and there are plenty of cafes nearby if you're in the mood to explore. I ended up extending my stay — a clear sign of how much I enjoyed it. Gratitude and a big thanks to the on-ground team.

A perfect home - Highly recommended! We had an amazing experience at Jolly Rogers's home stay ! I was there with my family to celebrate my niece first birthday and it was a life time experience! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated and had everything we had needed for comfortable stay! The Home is nestled in the Himalayas with a great panoramic view of The great himalyan range ! It literally felt like we were communicating with Nature itself! Host was incredibly welcoming , responsive and ensuring everything was perfect during our visit! I would absolutely stay here again if I get chance! Thanks a ton for hosting us and make our moments unforgettable! p.s - special thanks to pushkar bhai and his friend! The place is exactly as it is described, quiet, peaceful and surrounded by greenery all around. There were nice walking trails which we thoroughly enjoyed hiking along and a nice deck to sit and watch the mountains. The food was delicious and freshly prepared and we loved it. We had our pets with us and they loved the place too. Want to mention specifically about the mud houses - what a great sustainable way to embrace the mountains without disrupting the ecological balance. The property uses rainwater harvesting and a big thumbs up for that too. Would highly recommend to all. A must visit and a great place to just unwind.

I had the most magical stay at Idyllic Haven. The cozy cotton at the top of the mountain, the calm and stilness, the panoramic views, the amazing hikes, the wonderful food and service… everything was simply perfect. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Thank you for sharing this special haven with us—it was an unforgettable experience. We were there for good 3 days and never felt bored. The 2 adorable dogs just add more to this, my daughter simply couldn't get over them and she missed them all her way back :) We look forward to come back to this in case Ramgarh becomes a destination again ... Complete value for money (you could have charged even more lol ).

Our stay at Sapna and Ishan’s property in Kasar Devi Almora, was an amazing experience. Sapna’s design sense is exceptional! The property looks exactly like the pictures clean with spacious Pinterest-worthy rooms. The view from the room is breathtaking, and the entire vibe is peaceful and relaxing. We could access the terrace also in the evening, was well kept. Location is perfect, I reminisce our walk to temple. The locality is clean and very safe. The best part was food, especially their Kumaoni Thali, all meals were freshly sourced and prepared. There were many cafes in the vicinity but we chose to eat most of our meals here, even packing some for our travels. Sapna also runs a boutique that supports local businesses, which we loved exploring and bought few stuff. They were very prompt and helpful in arranging a cab on short notice. Sapna and Ishan always went an extra mile and made our stay feel very comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful and positive stay.

Tastefully built and furnished, spacious and spotlessly clean cottage with a view of the valley below and the mountain range afar from all the rooms. Except the birds chirruping and an occasional refrain of a song from the small village below, there are no sounds. Our host Pritam was very helpful throughout and his guidance on routes and information on local amenities helped us a lot. There are, however, two points that need to be clarified. One, there are only two proper bedrooms and not three as we assumed from the description. The "third bedroom" is actually the space at the landing of the stairs, in between the two bedrooms and doesn't even have a door. The occupants have to use the bathroom upstairs, not convenient when there are three families. The second point is the approach path. Visitors have to be physically fit, especially ladies, to be able to negotiate the terrain which is downhill and most likely more than half a kilometer, or so our senior citizens felt.

Harish Ji place in Pepersalli is a breathtaking place with himalayan views all together. I really enjoyed my 4 days stay with Harish Ji as he took me to various hikes in pines, villages, kasar and other temples. He will never let you down and will try his best to give you best experience. He was a good companion too for all the chit chats and multiple discussion related to travelling.
