This place was beautiful. Private, romantic place in the nature. Quiet. We were very happy there. Everybody were so nice to us. Always helpful. Bedroom is very nice, bathroom too. Great place to stay, close to everything, wifi, big screen TV, aircon, everything you need.

My second stay at the Chateau and the place was perfect for my needs. Bill was very commutative with me at all times, even informing me of the planned power cuts in the area. The staff were excellent and always very helpful, when I bought a group of 18 for swimming, food and Kareoke they coped very well. ( thank you Wendy a goid time was had by all ! ) Bed and pillows super comfy, air con ok, restaurant and facilities excellent. There is now a new set of proper steps to the beach with handrails which is a great improvement. You will have the beach to yourself and perfect for a morning swim ! The location is 20 minutes from town in beautiful quiet surroundings away from the noise. Trycycles pass all day for around 30 pesos will take you to Calbayog Town. I will definitely return and would highly recommend this place for a nice relaxing stay.

A beautiful location, incredibly peaceful and welcoming. Raffy was a fantastic host who looked after our every need. I honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better to be there for us when we needed. He was knowledgable about the area, escorted us when we went into town, and organised trips and travel whenever it was required. Possibly the best host I have ever had and probably ever will have on Airbnb! The views from the cottage in the morning and evening are wonderful, and everyone we spoke to that lived nearby were friendly and welcoming. We had everything we needed in the cottage and the beds were comfortable. A perfect start to our trip to the Philippines, I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

In any case, an extraordinary place, a truly well-hidden gem. Sure, you can't drive your big car right up to the house, but you'll get more than the pictures promise. Everything you need to know is in the instructions. Read them carefully. And there is Raffy. He looks after the house, lives there himself with his family and makes all the guests' wishes come true. An exceptionally well-informed, courteous and discreet person. His English is perfect, even German is part of his repertoire. A big recommendation. I'll be back any time!

The house is nice with the pool. The ability to do laundry helped us out a lot. The hosts and neighbors in the neighborhood are very nice. Everything is functional in the house: air conditioning, TV, fridge, pool, washing machine, etc. I recommend it. We found a scooter rental company thanks to the owner and were able to explore two beautiful waterfalls nearby.

It is my favorite place to stay in this 1920s Hawaii. He hires the friendyest people around and treats them great. It makes for a very great atmosphere to be around.
