Cabin vacation rentals in Allen County

This was our first trip as a family with our infant granddaughter and it was wonderful! Peaceful, serene with lovely views in a country setting. Rocking chairs on the porch to rock the little one asleep. Stunning shrub rose bushes. A hot tub where the kids could take a moment to catch up while we watched the little one. Visits included Mammoth Cave and Jim Beam distillery. With seven of us, the home never felt cramped. The mattresses were all very comfortable and we were able to cook meals inside and grill outside. My daughter-in-law loved the back porch swing! Brian was excellent with communication and he has the honor of being the first host of our tradition of a yearly family trip to different destinations. Start your own tradition at Smith's Grove, you won't be disappointed. P.S. Buccee's is right up the road!

Very nice home. We were there for a race event and enjoyed the home for our rest in the evenings after the day at the track.

Our family loved our stay at the tiny cabin for our trip to Mammoth Cave NP. We would adventure in the mornings and then back to the cabin for late afternoons on the front porch and hot tub. The cabin was secluded and was so comfortable and cozy!!!

Jamie’s place was exactly what we needed for our visit to Bowling Green. We were traveling with family, and the home was spacious enough for everyone in our group! The kitchen was well-stocked, which was important to us. Jamie was so helpful and responsive to messages and questions.

We are from Wisconsin and came down to visit some family and these airbnbs were perfect for that. The photos do not do justice for what we saw in person. Absolutely beautiful and clean space. Check in and check out was very easy and communication with the hosts was wonderful. Highly recommend renting these spaces out and we would love to come back soon!!!!

From the minute we walked in the door of the cabin, my husband and I immediately felt relaxed and at home. The natural smell of cinnamon and spices welcomed us along with the warm lighting and gorgeous design. Everything was super comfortable, from the bedding chosen to the amenities provided in the kitchen and bathroom and even the spa outside! We loved taking a walk by the creek too - what a gorgeous property this is. We particularly enjoyed how quiet and private the space was. It is evident that each choice Taylor and Michaella have made in setting up this space was intentional with their guests in mind. They were wonderful hosts, and my husband and I look forward to coming back in the future!

This was a beautiful and private cabin. It's very close to Mammoth Cave National Park!

We only stayed one night but really enjoyed the cabin and sitting out on the back deck watching the fireflies and listening to nature. It was about 20 minutes away from Mammoth Cave. The beds were comfortable and the cabin smelled new. Much nicer than a hotel stay!

Exactly what I needed. The quiet cabin in the peaceful forest, made my stay not only restful and comforting, but also safely connected with nature. The host has been incredibly responsive and accommodating. I’m looking forward to my next stay at the cabin on the ridge.

This place was amazing. We had such a wonderful time with our two dogs. The cabin was easy to find and check in was easy as well. It was very clean and we had such an awesome stay. Will definitely be coming back!

We really enjoyed our stay! We loved the cabin, perfect size for the 2 of us. It was so clean and neat and so peaceful! Great location, close to all the caves and other attractions and also other nearby towns.

Joel’s cabin was perfect for our group. We were in town to play the Park Mammoth golf course. Lots of space. Beautiful surroundings. Very comfortable. Easy to make yourself at home. Joel was a great host! - Nick

I can’t recommend this cabin enough! The host went above and beyond to make our stay special. Communication was clear from start to finish, and they were super flexible with our schedule. The cabin itself was clean and well-stocked with everything you might need—plenty of towels, kitchen essentials, and even thoughtful touches like cooking oils and spices. What really blew us away was the extra effort they put into celebrating my birthday. They left a sweet card, a delicious cake, and even a balloon—it was such a thoughtful surprise! You can tell they truly care about their guests. If you’re looking for a cozy, stress-free getaway with a host who pays attention to every detail, this is the place for you. We’ll definitely be back!

Cabin was very nice and secluded even though it was just a couple miles from town. Everything was convenient to get to. The cabin had everything we needed to cook. Loved being able to sit on the back deck with our morning coffee and also played games in the evening with the kids. Would highly recommend this place if you’re in the area looking for a quiet place to stay in the woods.

Lost Cove was amazing. Our family of 9 had plenty of space. The home is clean - inside, porches, and yard. The kitchen is super well stocked. The home has so many toys for different ages, along with games for all ages. We had an amazing stay. Oh and the s’mores ingredients was the final perfect touch. I would highly recommend! We enjoyed the state park as well as Mammoth Cave.

We enjoyed staying at this historic home. The host was quick to respond and even kept us updated on severe weather that was headed to the area. We would definitely love to stay there again.

The Fox Den was so lovely and we can not wait to stay again! So so clean and comfortable stocked with everything we needed or a week’s stay. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful with lots of wildlife. This is a must-stay property!

This is a beautiful, clean, and well appointed cabin. Lora was so kind to check in and make sure we had all we needed after our arrival, but the place was already perfect and we felt right at home. We stayed during the summer which was great for easy access to Barren River Lake, but this would also be an amazing winter rental with the cozy look of the cabin and the two fireplaces. Thank you Lora for hosting us!

Beautiful stay with plenty of room for a good group of friends and family. Good games for entertainment and lots of conversation starting decorations.

Amazing lakeside retreat! Randy and Yvonne were awesome and responded promptly with any questions or concerns. Myself and my friends are already discussing booking this property again for another lake getaway.

We had a great stay at the cabin. The kids enjoyed the downstairs area with their bedroom, pool table, darts and access to the back yard. We fished out back and had no luck but caught lots of fish at the boat ramp down the road. The host was very responsive.
