It was a great cabin situated on top of the hill. It has everything you need to live and feel at home. My daughter loved the record player and the collection. It has a printer and internet was good. The view from the porch is beautiful. The only issue is that it was hard to find the property. The cabin is not on the midland trail road, but on a unpaved gravel road which is parallel to the midland trail. Apparently, it was the old midland trail road before the new one was laid. The property is on top of the unpaved road and it has two columns identifying the property. Once we pull into the driveway between the columns, it goes all the way in and then you will find the house.

The cottage is positioned within a green landscape and features a welcoming front porch. A red gate frames the entrance, surrounded by neatly trimmed bushes and trees. The charming exterior highlights a combination of yellow siding and dark shutters.

Our camping trip was going to be rained out with some incoming weather. Instead of canceling plans we booked this Airbnb as a plan B for Father’s Day weekend. The riverfront camp was very comfortable for my older kids and I. It had everything we needed for our stay and we were still able to explore the area despite some pockets of rain here and there. Thanks for having us.

Perfect sized house for two with cute decor and fun odds and ends. Perfectly quiet nights for stargazing if the clouds behave. Stayed for two nights, the bed was comfortable and clean the wifi worked well and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking pots/pans/etc. I loved the scent of the hand soap in the bathroom 😄

Our son lives in Covington and we were looking for a large home to rent for Easter weekend with all the family. Found Glen Haven and were impressed. Location is easy...15 minutes from Covington. Area is beautiful and peaceful. The property is fantastic with plenty of space of walking, running, exploring. The house itself is historic (1832!) with loads of character and unique style. The entire space is on one floor (we had elderly people with us so this was very helpful). 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (2 with showers, 1 with bathtub only). Kitchen has most amenities needed. Stove is gas (preferred by me) and lots of glassware and plates, silverware. It does need some steak knives or similar. We couldn't find a chef's knife or steak knife but went to Walmart and got one. Lots of supplies (tp, paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher detergent) and very nice to have a coffee station with coffee and sugar on site. Also, good shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and plenty of towels in bathrooms. Love!

We stayed the night traveling through. The home was extremely clean. Renovated with all new appliances. Bed was very comfy. Excellent host very accommodating. Great location for a couple or small family. Nice porch if you want to sit outside. Reasonable rate and much better than a hotel room, we travel with a dog. My husband left his Apple Watch. Miss Kimberly, mailed it to us, which was very nice of her.

Patricia's response was quick and kind in all our questions. The location was very accommodating for where all we wanted to travel and do. There were a few things I would change to make it an even better stay but it was great!

The place was nicely renovated and clean. Very spacious bathrooms and bedrooms. A wonderful open concept living area and kitchen. Host was very informative and had quick responses. Look forward to staying there again.
