We had an amazing stay at Greg’s cottage. It was the perfect getaway and the perfect mix between cozy cottage and fancy amenities! We loved the sauna and the hot tub, they were amazing additions to Greg’s. The beds were super comfortable as well which is always a plus at a cottage. Greg was always responsive and was super helpful. We cannot wait to come back to this cozy cottage! Thanks Greg!

Beautiful home! From the location, to the decor - it was an incredible stay! Close to the main street and lots to do in the area.

Second time renting this cottage with a group of 10 women who've known each other for 50 years!! The cottage was a perfect fit for all of us. Location is perfect, with a beautiful view of the river. Perfect walking distance (under 5K) to Quyon and Gavans Hotel for a quart!! Cottage is clean, modern. Having two fire pits offers options to gather - as well as many outdoor area's to gather, back deck, front deck, by the water. Scott is available for any questions - answering right away!! We loved it so much, that we've already booked for our 2026 weekend. Can't say enough good things about the cottage - it was perfect for our gathering - knowing that there are great memories there to last a lifetime. Highly recommend this cottage if you're looking for a relaxing, secluded, private spot to make your own memories.

Incredible property, secluded and private. Stunning views of the lake and the sun sets are incredible from the dock. Kayaks included were awesome fun and the local area had everything you needed (+friendly people!) Cassidy was quick to respond to questions and clear with instructions prior to our arrival. Book this cabin!!

This is a fabulous cabin on the lake!! We ended up having our family of 4 plus a niece stay here during a family reunion in Kingston and this was wonderful! I like getting out of town, and this feels out in the woods, yet only a 20 minute drive to Kingston. The communication with Danielle and Jorden was immediate. The instructions to get to the cabin are clear. The cabin itself is very cozy and had everything we needed. It was very clean, the kitchen has all necessary appliances, the beds are very comfortable, the showers are great (but low pressure if something else, like the dishwasher, is running) The setting is in absolute paradise. The lake, the deck, the dock, the chairs, the fire pit, the hot tub... wow!Unfortunately for us, the weather was not great so we did not make good use of all the outdoor amenities. But even in the rain, it was so lovely to walk some of the nearby Cataraqui Trail. I will definitely try to make my way back to this Airbnb, hopefully in the warmer months.

Fantastic stay, what a wonderful place to stay. Everything you could possibly need to keep a whole family entertained and catered for! Absolutely loved all the canoes, boats, paddle boards and the man cave. Kitchen was brilliant with all the equipment we needed. Really beautiful and peaceful location and children well catered for too with toys, life jackets etc Couldn’t have more good things to say about Mellow Yellow Cottage!

We stayed at Rebecca’s place for 3 nights with a family of 7 and 2 small dogs. The cottage was so comfy and cozy and we enjoyed the entire weekend. There was a lot to do like kayaking and paddle boarding which was all provided as per the description! We loved the fire pit and the yard was so well kept and clean. They even had dog beds ready for our pups. She had a very well stocked kitchen that came with almost everything we needed. My family loved being both inside and outside the whole weekend. Thank you for sharing this little peaceful cottage with us, with the most amazing views of the lake.

Our stay here at Little Wolf Pond was amazing. The privacy and location perfect for us to explore the Adirondack Mountains. We loved the sun room and view for relaxing and the hot tub was visited daily! We did use the kayaks to explore the Pond. If your lucky, you will get to see lots of stars, deer and birds. The beds comfy and overall, one of our favorite AirBnb's we have stayed at.

Very quiet space, loved being by the water. Our dogs loved swimming and exploring the space! Very relaxing. Would love to come here again for a longer stay!

This was my second stay at Stephen’s place and it did not disappoint yet again! This was the perfect cabin getaway, complete with a very clean, beautiful and cozy cottage paired with so much to enjoy outside and on the water. We cannot say enough positive things about our stay and how great of a host Stephen always is!! Would definitely recommend, and I look forward to another visit in the future!

We had an incredible time at this cottage. If we had more time left in Canada we would have planned another visit in the summer.

The riverside cottage was very peaceful and had a wonderful view down the waterway. It was quite cozy and had all the amenities you could ask for in a vacation getaway. Our family had a beautiful stay and would love to return again soon!

Longview cottage has quickly become my favorite getaway. I visited for the first time about a month ago, and am already back. I was able to work remotely for the week, and it was the perfect adjustment to my normal routine. The location is great — you truly feel like you’re deep in the woods, but getting to the store or out for a quick bite is actually quite convenient. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

This was our second stay at Rube’s Retreat, and it was as lovely as our first visit a year ago. The wall of windows looking on to the lake is spectacular, and the cottage is clean, bright, and comfortable. It has everything you need for a great stay, and Sylvia is an attentive and responsive host who communicates well. There are lots of nice little touches (games, books) and the kitchen is well supplied with dishes and amenities. This trip we went to Fort Henry (very close by) which we enjoyed. Highly recommend Rube’s Retreat and we are already planning our next visit!

We had such a wonderful time staying at Rowan Cottage! It was my husband and I with our little Boston Terrier and everything was perfect! The place was spotless when we got there and the instructions to check in were very easy to navigate. The place felt brand new. It was just the right amount of space for us. It is a fairly private area and the waters were very peaceful, not a lot of traffic on the water at all! The views from the cottage were amazing - perfect for the morning coffee! Appliances were great, and the washroom was so clean. There were awesome board games and vinyl records to jam to. As well as a Bluetooth speaker to connect. We were never bored! For anyone looking to visit, there are a fair bit of mosquitos so remember bug spray! Overall an amazing experience and highly recommend!

Would recommend to anyone traveling to the area. Beautiful location. Easy river access for fishing, canoeing, and other water activities. Well suited for families with a game room and lots of books for kids. Our family loved the wildlife sightings (blue jays, hummingbirds, chipmunks, and fish every day).

We just got back from a lovely stay at the cottage on Spectacle Lake, and even though the weather wasn’t on our side, we truly had a great time. The rain kept us mostly indoors, but the cozy fireplace turned out to be a blessing we spent our time just relaxing, listening to the rain, and soaking in the peaceful vibe. The cottage itself is tucked away in such a private, serene spot. Waking up to the sound of birds and looking out over the calm water from every window was incredibly calming. Everything was so clean and well cared for. Waking up to birdsong and calm water views from every window was such a treat. I was thrilled to finally spot a few beaver lodges in the Madawaska Valley — a small dream come true! The cottage was clean, the docks looked great, and having fresh drinking water available was such a thoughtful and sustainable touch. We didn’t get the clear skies we hoped for to stargaze, but that just gives us a reason to come back and we definitely will.

We had a great time staying at Cassie's. The bnb was lovely and the views were awesome at sunset. Would definitely stay again if I'm ever in Ogdensberg again!

great area we have traveled all up and down the st Lawrence and up north this is by far my fav spot, if I knew that I would have booked a while week amazispot hope to to there again when the weather is better unfortunately we went when it rained whole time but it was a great peaceful spot

Fantastic setting! The place was clean and very well equipped, we lacked nothing. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful when we had questions. Wonderful clean lake and fun to explore with their kayaks. We found the indoor space a little tight (family of 5 adults), the rooms were small but comfortable. The outdoor space was phenomenal, lots of sitting areas, fire pits and we enjoyed the hot tub! It is not good for people with reduced mobility however. There are lots of stairs!

Anita's cottage made us feel comfortable and relaxed. It had a great beach vibe look to it with all her personal touches in the decor and design of the cottage. The cottage is very sizable and to have the extra bathroom in the nearby shed was truly a luxury. The cottage is well situated right on the water with only steps on the large multi level deck giving access to the St. Lawrence River. Swimming was great for our family and dog as the access to the river was shallow and gradual to the lake. Both of the full days we had at the cottage was sunny and clear and we were able to take advantage of the stunning sunset that landed directly on the deck of the cottage. The kitchen was well stocked with the necessary spices and utensils necessary to cook inside or on the BBQ right outside. Anita was very responsive to our requests and was accommodating to a last minute change in the number of guests and allowed us to charge our Tesla in front of the cottage.

Kim’s place provided exactly what we were looking for during our canoe weekend at Palmer Rapids and the lower Madawaska river. It is a large comfortable space, really clean and very well appointed. The lakeside location is very pretty, and a lovely spot to sit and reflect on the day’s adventures. Kim responded very quickly to any questions we had and made it clear she was available to assist us if there was anything we needed to may are stay more enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back!

I stayed at Michael’s place in June 2025 with some friends for a weekend getaway, in total there were 6 adults and one dog. The location was super easy to find and matched the photos and description exactly. Michael’s instructions were very clear and we had no issues whatsoever getting in and set up. It was also so nice to have an earlier check-in time than other Airbnb’s I’ve stayed at (check-in was at 1pm). The place is incredibly well-stocked, we were beyond impressed with the provided amenities, any little thing we may have forgotten was provided for us. We enjoyed the bonfire and the jacuzzi tub in the evenings, and had no problem following the easy instructions provided. We immensely enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it for a small gathering of family or friends! We did also notice many little touches that would make a stay with children very comfortable. Thanks Mike for such a lovely stay!
