Nice house on the Boarne, near the Frisian lakes

Our house is a small but very nice house. From the jetty you step up the boat and sail towards the Frisian lakes. The house is very quiet and has all comforts. You can stay well with 4 people at the Wjitteringswei. The beds are lovely. They are now as a double bed, but can also be set up as 4 single beds. WiFi is also available, of course. And especially a fantastic view. Check-in from 3pm and check-out until 12pm.

We were there in June as a group of four – despite the rain and colder temperatures, we were able to enjoy our stay totally thanks to the sauna and the heated pool, which was our highlight! We were very warmly welcomed, the accommodation is really great – we can only recommend it and will definitely come back. The adjacent forest is great for walking and Groningen and Leeuwarden are each just under 30 minutes by car.

We stayed there for 5 days and we liked it very much. Pieter and Lotte are great hosts. They are very friendly and gave us a great time. It is truly a nice environment where you can walk to everything. We would definitely recommend it.

I stayed at Mark and Remko's tiny house for 4 days and had a great time! I had a workation and have been able to combine the work perfectly with cycling in the area, shop in Gorredijk and relax and unwind. The tiny house has really all the comforts. Everything has been thought of. And the view with storks, hares and birds is really great. Wifi is also super fast, so an ideal workspace! Will definitely be back!
