Poate vrei sa savurezi un pahar de vin vechi langa un steak de vita la lumina focului. Sau sa citesti in liniste o carte, sub lumina stelelor. Poate vrei pur si simplu un loc unde sa uiti de gadget-uri si sa nu faci nimic cat e ziua de lunga. Am amenajat o pergola unde poti lua masa. O terasa cu sezlonguri pentru relaxare. O zona cu un firepit unde poti sta seara.

Polovragi's house is a real peaceful oasis. We quickly felt very good there. Surrounded by nature, the outside is arranged to spend great moments: possibility of making a fire, small wooden pool, very convenient outdoor kitchen. Inside this house is very modern and pleasant. The host offers us lots of care: delicious brioche, country living water, nespresso coffee maker available, Netflix on TV... We had a great stay there, we would have stayed longer! The house is located near the gorges of the Olt which you can walk or drive. There are also the monastery and cave for you to visit. A great discovery that this highly recommendable home!

We have been travelling for 5 weeks now and the personal touch that Ileana provides made our stay so special . I feel like we experienced the authentic Romania. We rarely get to meet a host - but to sit and chat ( using Google translate ) share stories and have a drink and a coffee made it a place we will always remember . Comfortable bed and gives you an early start for the Transalpina . The caves Peștera Muierilor are only a 15 minute drive from here and worth a visit !
