This Spanish-style guest house is located behind the front house fuses traditional elements of terracotta tiles and colorful artwork with a chic white interior and darker wood fixtures. Unwind on the sunny back patio with a cup of coffee or refreshing beverage. Front patio pictured helps our guests find the guest house, which is behind the front house. Just steps away from the beach and bustling shops, cafes and eateries on 2nd Street. The unit is beautifully decorated and appointed. Dishes, glassware and flatware included. Located behind a house with side entrance. Very private. Steps to beach, bay, bike and pedestrian path, 2nd Street and Naples. Will add additional photos shortly. Backyard and propane grill. Foot shower, outdoor sink, seating area, etc. We spend time in CA and stay in the house located on the front of the property. We are available to assist you as needed. Love the access to restaurants, shops, grocery store, beach and bay. Amazing walking area! Fabulous free events year round - music, art, children's events, food and beverage festivals, etc. You do not need a car. Long Beach transit system is excellent. Buses can be accessed on 2nd street (half a block away) and water taxi is available from the Granada Boat Launch (on Ocean Avenue). Favorite Restaurants: Casual: Simzy's, Tavern on 2, Michaels Pizzeria (Naples), Taco Surf, Super Mex, Angelo's Deli, Chucks on Ocean (for Breakfast), Baja Fish Tacos (opening in September). Nicer/More Upscale: Michaels (Naples), Nick's on 2nd, Sushi on Fire, Boubouffe (reasonable for caliber of food), Creperie, Open Sesame, etc. Coffee: Peets, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Starbucks, Roma di Aroma, Starbucks, etc. Other area restaurants: Starling Diner (B/L) on 3rd and Belmont, At Last Cafe (2nd/Orange), Lola's (on 4th), Potholder (on Broadway), Christy's (on Broadway), Cafe Piccolo (on Broadway) Belmont Shore is a vibrant and friendly neighborhood where walking is the preferred method of transportation. Try many of the wonderful nearby restaurants in Belmont Shore, Naples and Belmont Heights, spend the day immersing yourselves in fun water activities by the beach, and partake in one or more of the many cultural and music events that occur year round.

No parties or events are allowed *Strict quiet time after 10pm sharp *Guests are required to clean-up after themselves when using the front patio & grill We respect the privacy of our guests but are only a phone call or text message away! The cottage is nestled in the quieter, residential area of Belmont Shore and close to Bay Shore Beach. The town’s main street, 2nd Street, is a short walk away with buzzing restaurants, coffee shops, and small boutiques. - Like many other Belmont Shore units, there is no central a/c. However, we have included one portable a/c in the space to be used should it get warm. - There is on-site parking for small to medium-sized vehicles. - There is a shared laundry in the back of the unit ($1.50 each for washer and dryer, please bring quarters). Detergent and fabric softener is provided. - Our unit is equipped with a SmarTV, cable, and Netflix. - The master bedroom includes a new, queen-sized Simmons Beautyrest mattress. - For parents of small children, we provide a Graco pack n’ play, crib sheets, high chair, toddler cups, plates, utensils, and a sound machine.

The boardwalk and ocean are right underneath your window. Occasionally you can see dolphins swimming under your window. Walk to the bay side for paddleboarding, swimming. Solana Beach Retreat House

We had the perfect little Long Beach getaway in this cute cottage. The place was clean, uncluttered, and tastefully decorated. This is perfect for a couple or maybe a couple and a child. It would probably be too tight for 3 adults. The bathroom with a large shower area was a surprise. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of towels. They even had beach chairs, which we used for both the beach and a free play a nearby park. Walking distance to coffee, shops, and a wide variety of restaurants as well as the beach. Although near a popular shopping street and located on a thoroughfare, this place is quiet and in a Peaceful and pretty neighborhood. The hosts were communicative and friendly. We look forward to staying again when visiting our son in Long Beach.

The place was beautifully decorated and very inviting. The photos and description are accurate. It's also one of the best stocked kitchens and bathrooms I've seen. I especially appreciated the teas, coffee, and small bottles of sunscreen. There were welcome gifts which was a nice surprise, and Andrea was very responsive and quick to reply. The area was very quiet and peaceful, even on the weekend. The only downside is the beach itself was littered with trash, but Andrea can't control that. Also, be aware that the carport is small and getting in and out is very tight. Still, I was able to maneuver and park my 4-door Jeep Wrangler in it. If you have anything much bigger, it probably won't fit. We loved the place and would stay again.

The host was incredibly responsive and made check-in and check-out super easy. The location was perfect—close to everything we needed, yet quiet enough to feel like a peaceful getaway. All the amenities were top-notch, and the little touches (like fresh towels, coffee, and local recommendations) made it feel extra welcoming. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

The house was really easy to find. It was spotless and very comfortable. We loved the beach with the waves right next to it. We also loved the lagoon right down the street. Kyle was very responsive when I had questions which makes the experience even better. We will definitely be back.

Had a wonderful stay at Sally’s place. Was greeted personally by, given the tour. Had lots of helpful tips as well as recommendations for food and activities in the area. Her home is very cozy. Amazing view of the Canal. Would highly recommend this home for your stay as well as the very sweet and courteous host. 5 stars all around.

As someone who has stayed in many Airbnbs, this has to be one of my favorite. Not only was it extremely clean and charming, but we felt right at home once we walked in. The neighborhood is quiet yet still close to a ton of restaurants & shopping. The beach is close by, but spending time in the beautiful backyard was just as lovely and relaxing. It had everything we (and our 1yr old) needed! Our hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating. I would stay here again. Thank you again, Alicia!
