The attention was always the best even and after check out that we require attention for a forgotten object.

This was a wonderful home. I was met by the housekeeper Jessica and it was amazing. I spent 5 days in the home and honestly I never wanted to leave. Next time in san jose, stay here. The pool was my favorite feature!!

A beautiful and very quiet place, Manuel was super attentive to all the questions and requests we had. A very peaceful and private place. It really met all our expectations!!!

Very nice house. Stylish decor. Good layout of the rooms. Well-kept garden(s), one part of which is not overlooked. Small touches on our arrival: coffee, condiments. Very nice bed linens. We felt right at home.

We had a great time at the house!!! Gabriel and Laura are great hosts. The house was clean, very spacious, the kitchen had everything we needed, we were able to make everything, . We were with 3 dogs, the yard is very big and fenced, there is a closet gate we felt very safe . Every morning we heard the sound of the birds singing, and the sunrise is stunning . There is 2 grocery stores nearby that have everything you need. . Thank you so much for your hospitality . Definitely recommend 🌹

I'm a Costa Rican living in Houston, Texas. I miss nature in all its forms. But when I arrived at this house, I felt that warmth of home that I needed. It's super quiet, it's inside a large family property, that made me feel very safe! It's serene and relaxing to be there, the sound of birds and the yard full of chickens made me feel like I was in my old house. Sirlene is a super host who always answers any questions or needs as soon as possible. His parents are super friendly and gave us lots of fruit. I recommend this house. It has everything you need for a long stay. My family and I stayed for a month. It was a very good experience. I'd be happy to come back in the future.

Fantastic spot with so much space in the heart of San Jose. Easy to walk around and find anything you need. Lots of privacy with an entire fenced in yard. Host was so responsive and very kind. Definitely recommend.

We (unfortunately) only stayed at this beautiful Airbnb for one night. Everything is really fantastic. It's a beautiful house. Very well maintained, an extremely great view. And everything is topped off by the cool Jacuzzi, which is on the terrace! Pre-heated for us – that was perfect. All in all, five-star deluxe. Great communication with the host –MELANY. Thank you so much for this great experience. We are in San Jose more often and will definitely take this little detour. Warm and welcoming best describes it. Thank you for everything and see you soon – not to forget – dog friend. With our three little dachshunds – a dream. Thank you. ❤️

My mom and I had a great time and a very nice place, a delicious climate, the house was cozy, Lorena was very nice and attentive, definitely a place to go back to.

Perfect resting place near SJO airport! The house was easy to find and there were lots of eateries in the area. My family of five felt very safe since a large gate secures the place at 8:30 pm to 8 am (we had a remote control if we didn't come back within the stated hours). The house had lots of amenities and the decoration was very modern. We lacked one towel but Daisy was very quick to respond and took care of everything. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

We book with Andrew for family time. The place was perfect for the 8 and our dog. The beautiful views, the space is very comfortable and the host is always attentive and flexible to help us with the entrance. One day we walked to a place that Andrew recommended for lunch and also bought food at the supermarket for breakfast and dinner, so it was very practical and we were able to rest a lot. The kitchen was well equipped. One day we went to City Mall to hang out and eat, so that's a good option too.

The house is spacious, clean, and equipped with modern amenities. Located in the highlands of Alajuela, it’s a good base for visiting La Fortuna, Monteverde, Poás, etc. However, don't be fooled by Zarcero’s central spot on the map - mountain roads and thick fog often add an hour or more to your journey (e.g., 3 hrs to Puntarenas, 4 to Manuel Antonio). Scott and Yamileth - the housekeeper were very responsive and quickly resolved an issue with the electricity. One thing to be aware of: the weather. During our stay, it averaged 14°C while in San Ramon only 30km down the hill it was 24°C . While I’m used to the cold, the house had limited heating (a small oil heater), and we only packed for tropical temps, which made indoor time a bit chilly. Overall, a lovely place that I’d recommend to both adventurers and families - just bring warm layers if you’re visiting during the cooler season.

Lovely place, felt really comfortable and cozy. It was full of all the things we needed, and also mentioned the great location. I would stay in the future in this relaxed place.

This place is very basic and we just stayed here We had a great stay for a night! The place was super clean and everything worked just as described. We do prefer a bit more comfort in our linens and bedding, but the ones provided were okay. There’s only one bedroom with a queen-size bed and a sofa bed. It would’ve been better if there were two single beds, since the bedroom is large. You could separate or join them based on what your guests prefer. Oh, and there are some stray and neighbor owned dogs that live nearby and sometimes hang out around the property if you’re outside in the back or front. They’re friendly and harmless, but they might not be the best for people who are scared of dogs.

Carlo's place was great! We stayed almost a week and felt right at home. We saw many birds and even a couple frogs from the expansive living room and deck. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was much appreciated and worked great. The showers were nice. We cooked in the kitchens many mornings and were very happy with the set up and appliances. I also have to say that Cuidad Colon was a charming small town and I hope to return someday. All in all I highly recommend Carlo's place!

Alejandra's house was exactly as shown in the pictures. Lots of space and very clean. The best part was how lovely and welcoming Alejandra's family are. They made us feel like part of the family and so comfortable to stay there. Thanks for everything!

We had a great stay. The house is as described and the kitchen was particularly well equipped. The beds were comfy. Irma was very helpful with recommendations and a booking for a birthday meal. We received fresh eggs in the morning, which was lovely. This does mean noise from the chickens, so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. There is a lovely balcony and plenty of space for the kids to run around.

Recommended, very cozy and family-friendly! I was impressed by the stay and the place, don't miss the opportunity to share this wonderful home! I'll select it again next time!
