THE CABIN - is a newly built cabin (2024), located in a small cabin area on Oppheimsåsen with quiet surroundings. This is a cabin that is excellent for the extended family, or several families. The cabin has a high and modern standard. There are ski slopes right outside, bike path, fishing water, as well as several mountain hikes nearby. Stylish and cozy funkish cottage built in 2019. The cottage is located right by the Hallingdalselva river,just 2 km from the center of Ål. High and low climbing park is only 300m away, and about 500m away is Strandafjorden swimming area! Ål ski center is 8 km and to Geilo only 23 km. Hemsedal ski center is 56 km from the cabin. Hardangervidda about 35 km. On the mountains around, you can pick and choose from amazing ski slopes in winter and walking paths in the summer! The activity opportunities are just as good both winter and summer!

Experience nature and a simple life. There are no cars, no facilities, and no other people close by. Outhouse, wood burning, a simple kitchen with gas for cooking. Our cabin was renovated and rebuilt in the fall of 2022 and we could warmly welcome you and your travel companions! The cabin contains three bedrooms with double beds in addition to the loft/loft with double sofa bed. Large bathroom with washer/dryer and well equipped Kitchen. In the loft there is a TV that is connected to broadband, so you can stream what you want to see. Large porch with outdoor furniture and fire pit. Possibility to charge EV.

Located at 930 meters above sea level, ski conditions are secured in the winter time, but also plenty of activity and swimming opportunities in the summer. Well arranged for families with kids of all ages. Winter breeze up to the cabin, and ski in ski out (cross country).
