Friendly family hostel with super Nilblick! The Hofni-Palace is a friendly, family-run small apartment house with 5 apartments. From the balconies of the two upper apartments to the main street, you have a wonderful view of the Nile. I had the apartment on the top right: 2 bedrooms, each with its own balcony, kitchen, bathroom and living room with balcony to the side. All rooms are spacious. The bathroom has a boiler, so you can still shower warm even during the power outages in Luxor (about 2 hours/day). I was in Luxor in January where the temperatures can drop to about 10° at night. However, the apartment also remained sufficiently warm without heating. Tayea is the owner and manager of Hofni Palace. He organized tours for me and partly also did his own car. I felt very comfortable with him and his British partner, Margaret. Tip: Tayea exchanges your euros for significantly better rates than the banks / ATMs!

Coming to Luxor and staying in this apartment allowed us to have a very pleasant holiday.The location of this apartment is very good, quiet in the middle of the bustle.Because there are so many tourists in Luxor, we chose to stay on the west coast.The host Ahmed was very welcoming, took the initiative to pick us up at the bus station and brought us to the apartment, told us everything about the apartment and some specific things about the surrounding area, making it convenient for us to eat and shop nearby.Moreover, the Host also suggested our specific itinerary for these few days, and with his strong help, we had a very pleasant time in Lu Kesuo.The facilities in the apartment are exactly the same as the photos, and the Host is also very welcoming. If you have any difficulties, you can directly contact the Host, and he can help you with it, and the solution is proper.If I have the chance to come to Luxor again, I will definitely come back to this apartment and stay for another week.

My sister and I had an amazing time in Luxor. The stay was gorgeous but what especially stood out was the tour guides. Mohamed and Ta ensured we had an amazing time and an authentic experience. They were the sweetest people! Couldn’t recommend them more!!

This place was one of the loveliest stays in Egypt. With a great view over the Nile, amazing breakfast in the rooftop restaurant. the service was really good and all the staff, especially Ashraf were very helpful and organised many trips for us including a sunrise balloon trip at very reasonable prices

Hesham is a super friendly and responsive host.. he was always at hand to help us with our queries. his apartment is well located,equidistant from the Luxor and Karnak temple.. supermarket close by

Shehab was a very responsive host and even helped us in getting currency exchanged at a short notice. The house is very good with all the necessary amenities.

The place is very quite and private. With a big terrace and beautiful garden with flowers and cat. Everything was clean and Hassan is very nice and friendly. Only walk for 10min to get to port, Highly recommend!!!

I recently stayed at this charming Villa hosted by one most hospitable hosts I've ever encountered. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The breakfast provided was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients that really set the tone for the day. Friendly and dedicated host. He has a very high understanding of the Luxor area, and you can hear interesting stories about ancient Egypt that you can't read in books. The view from the house is very nice, and at dawn you can take pictures with the wonderful scenery of Bolun Tour. All the furniture is newly purchased, and they try to accommodate guests' requests as much as possible. The host is also a local guide, and you can get a variety of recommendations and professional knowledge. Fluent in English, so no problem communicating

The house was very beautiful on the inside and outside. The rooms were big and clean and the airconditioning was very helpfull. the rooftop was also very nice with a good view of the nature. Abdallah was an awsome host who made us feel welcome and at home, and was always helpfull from the moment we arrived. He made sure to give as a good expierence of the city by organizing and giving amazing tours as a guide but mostly as a friend. I would highly recommend booking this house!

Mohammed was a very helpful and kind host. He will always make sure you’re okay. He brought us some bananas first night we stayed in. Which was very nice from him 🥹🥰 The place is located in the peaceful site of the city which makes the place a peaceful home. The swimming pool definitely is the star of the house. My little one enjoyed a lot. The only thing I will recommend to Mohammed is equipe the kitchen a little bit more. Maybe few more cutlery and fry pans will be helpful. Overall was a great place to stay in! Thank you very much.

The accommodation is a little far from the city, and the surroundings are quiet, and there is a large grocery store right at the entrance of the apartment, so you can buy any necessities (excluding alcohol). If you need to go out to the city, you can call Indrive.

Great host! Nice spacious apartment. The pictures make the place look small but it’s actually quite spacious and the bathroom is huge. I enjoyed my stay Mo helped me by booking a few tours also transportation to Aswan. The driver he provided is very nice and is super knowledgeable of the land. Restaurants are within walking distance I highly recommend Nile Freedom the owner is super chill and the food is 10/10! Would definitely book with Mo again.

Great apartment located west bank close to several restaurants and 5 min from the ferry. The place is quiet. We also appreciated the completely blackout shutters on the bedroom window door. We couldn't enjoy the pool (too cool at the end of February🤪) but it made you want to 😉 The host was very responsive by message when needed but he doesn't live here, so we were greeted by an intermediary.

Badawi promptly responded to my advance questions re: the best time to arrive, how I can go to his listing to check in, how he can show me where to go for shopping and food, how I can have my things sent to me, how my rental is private, how he will let the employees know not to bother me, and anything else I needed such as the wonderful free breakfast, WiFi, etc. When my plane landed, I texted Badawi as we discussed prior to my arrival, and he gave me clear directions on how to take the taxi to the ferry with the few things I had brought on the plane, then met me at the ferry dock, carried my things to his car, and chauffeured me the rest of the beautiful way to the rental. The place was better than expected. Rarely have I felt so at home!! He had a working refrigerator with some welcome fruit in it, showed me how to open the balcony doors for air or just sunshine, and then let me stay in peace unless I needed anything, at which time he responded very well and professionally.
