The cozy 4-person vacation home is located in the front house of our farmhouse. The building is built in traditional Ameland farmhouse style and spacious. The lively, old center of the European Capital of Culture 2018 is a stone's throw away. The studio is stylishly furnished and equipped with all comforts: complete private bathroom including rain shower, 43 inch TV (with Chromecast), kitchenette with microwave, fridge and coffee machine, dining table, desk and double bunk bed.

Our cozy holiday home is located in a private residential complex determined by water. The 88sqm house was renovated and furnished in May 2020. "Frisian green" has 10 large sun panels on the roof and claims to have all of its energy from the sun next to the stove. The house is ideal for 4 vacationers (max 6 people). The almost 500sqm outdoor area with various dining areas, garden lounge, sauna (2 pers) and outdoor shower invites you to linger and relax.

The Carriage House near Leeuwarden

Rural location on the Elfsteden route, on the edge of the Leeuwarder forest we rent out our "6 person coach house". The former coach house we have converted into a beautiful apartment and is next to our farm with private terrace on the south. Do you want to stay in a quiet environment where nature plays the main role then this apartment is for you. We, Ate and Gerda are owners since 2016 and have made our farm in Jelsum completely sustainable.

Nice house on the Boarne, near the Frisian lakes

Our house is a small but very nice house. From the jetty, get on the boat and sail towards the Frisian lakes. The house is very quiet and has all the comforts. You can stay with 4 people at the Wjitteringswei. The beds are lovely. They are now as a double bed but can also be set up as 4 single beds. WiFi is of course also there. And most importantly, a fantastic view. Check-in from 3pm and check-out until 12pm.

This cute white cottage with a thatched roof is like from a fairy tale book! As if you really live in authentic Giethoorn. (North) The boats can be rented from the neighbors and the beautiful bridges can be found only a 6-minute walk away. Without hordes of tourists. (They are in Giethoorn Zuid = 45 minutes' walk) Unfortunately not suitable for infants/children from 0 to 8.
