We really enjoyed our time at Simo’s place. The home is very comfortable. We were greeted like friends and felt right at home. He was happy to assist with laundry and local recommendations. I especially appreciated the attention to detail and creative design. Simo has fully decorated the home with pride and craftsmanship - local fossils and stones integrated into the home, collector items, antiques, crate furniture and shelves, unique light fixtures. Truly inspiring. So glad we stopped in Midelt during the long journey from the Sahara to Fes.

We spent one night in transit to Merzouga. A very nice surprise, the apartment is very well decorated (congratulations to the decorator) and especially quality equipment. Very well equipped. Ali was very responsive and available. An oasis in Midelt. I recommend it 1000%, and would happily come back!

Ali has always made sure that we are well and that we have everything we need! He even spontaneously gave us the better room. He was also very communicative and told us a lot about the area and showed us how to typically prepare a mint tea. Thank you for the gastronomic hospitality, dear Ali!
