Old Fashioned Stunner

Original, Kiwi, 50's family bach with its own direct access to Coopers Beach. Rumpty, but comfy, and sitting on a large private section with room for cars and a boat. The bach is very private and quiet. It has magnificent uninterrupted views across Doubtless Bay, and you can walk down to the beach via a private path through the trees in 2 minutes. The bach has a heat pump, heaters and lots of blankets so that it remains cosy at night. We think it's the perfect place for a relaxing getaway!

Deborah was a fantastic host - incredibly friendly and kind! 5 mins walk to Hihi beach and town only a short 10-15min drive away this is a perfect spot to explore the area. Beautiful location overlooking Doubtless Bay. Expansive water views. Back from the road so almost no noise. Slept with the windows open to the crashing of the waves. The unit we booked was a one bedroom. Plenty of space. Good kitchen. Ate breakfast on the balcony. Highly recommend this place. The stock photo on the listing does not do justice to how great this place is. This place is actually a number of units so they will assign you one of the units so perhaps that is why there is just a stock photo.

The property is just steps from the beach, and the gentle sound of the ocean was the perfect backdrop for a restful night's sleep. Coopers Beach amenities are just a stones throw away, as are Mangonui’s well known cafes and restaurants. The apartment was immaculate, cozy, and exactly as described and the hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind by the sea.
