Cabin vacation rentals in Adams County

This was our first AirBnB stay and it exceeded our expectations. The check-in instructions, notes about the appliances, and local restaurant recommendations were all very helpful. And the bag of food for the cows was an unexpected bonus.

Everything fit the description and was exactly as we expected. We needed to ask something about the firewood and someone responded almost immediately. 10/10

Great trip! Loved the town of Hillsboro and the location of the cabin. Cabin was lovely besides the stink bugs, these were a serious problem. Lots of dead ones everyone and definitely had an infestation, took about 6 live ones outside in our 3 day trip. Definitely something to look into but other than that everything else was perfect!

This cabin was very nice and relaxing with a beautiful view. The interior is unique and charming, with all modern amenities. The host was friendly, responsive, and communicative. We really enjoyed our stay.

The cabin was beautiful and the view of the local town off the porch was gorgeous!! The house was spotless when we arrived and we had everything we needed for our stay, all the listed amenities were functioning and as listed, the hot tub was awesome! Chris was very responsive and helpful, he even shut down Sunday for us so we could take our time leaving, will definitely be staying again in the future!

The cabin was cute and cozy and the kitchen was well stocked with items often forgotten. During our visit we watched a buck walk through the property, loved on a very friendly kitty, watched a lot of birds and squirrels scampering around and had many Amish buggies pass by. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning sometime in the future.

This was just what we needed for a relaxing weekend. We enjoyed spending time as a family playing shuffleboard and pool, fishing, walking the golf cart paths, and sitting around a bonfire. The cabin had everything we needed to cook and enjoy our meals on the deck overlooking the meadow and pond.

This is a great place to stay If you’re looking for an affordable weekend trip ! The cabin was very clean, in peaceful area, and the neighbor was nice. Shawnee State Park was about 30 minutes away for the kids and I to hike, fish and enjoy a nice dinner at the lodge with guests.

Beautiful property, rustic charm & peaceful! We will definitely rent again the next time we are visiting family.

We totally enjoyed our stay at the red cabin. It is absolutely precious and very inviting. It was clean as a pin and had everything we needed. The bathroom is so very cute and the views from the windows are awesome. What a great sunrise.

Great place to stay at an affordable rate... Our family of 5 stayed for a week. And was provided only 6 towles and a few wash rags. I definitely think they should fully stock for a family staying for a week. Tried to ask about fire wood a few times and never got a response, even on how to purchase because the store was closed we didnt know where to get any from. Luckily the local campers were very sweet and friendly and didnt mind loading us down with wood 🙂. The locals are lovely people. Other then that the cabin did its job and we had a great time.

Just WOW!!!! Franks place was PERFECT for my husband and I. The place was SPOTLESS! Thank you so much for that! Robes and slippers for the hot tub! The hot tub was so great for relaxing. We sat for hours around the fire pit talking. Yes there was wood and fire starters. There is no wifi which was perfect for us! Also there was coffee supplied! Everything was thought of even a charcoal and gas grill. There is a Walmart 15 minutes away or the amish market down the road. Door dash did deliver from save a lot! During the day we cruised every back road down to the Ohio River. Beautiful countryside down through there. Frank thanks again for the amazing getaway!!! **This place was such and GEM, I booked an extra night!***

Loved our time here! The house was as advertised, spacious, lots of amenities for kiddos and adults. Comfortable beds. Clean. Very quiet and the bedrooms were DARK in the morning with all the trees. Lovely cabin in the woods.

Just like the name states this is a very cozy hideaway. If you’re looking to go off grid and need some peace and quiet this is the spot. The hosts were Absolutely wonderful their hospitality and kindness are unmatched I was recommended hiking trails and all of what’s notable in the area. They were very accommodating if I needed anything they were ready to help. The area is secluded and your about two football fields away from the hosts house he even has a trail that leads from your cabin to there back porch incase you need wifi. All in all it was a wonderful time and I will defs be back soon to visit my new friends and hike some more trails!!!

A great cabin near a beautiful lake. Had everything we needed for a quick last minute stay.

The Ash Cabin is a dry cabin, meaning you won’t find running water, modern conveniences, or luxury finishes—but what you will find is peace, stillness, and purpose. If you are looking for more amenities, try booking one of the other cabins on site! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and kindness by Jim and Jan, who went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Their hospitality is unmatched. They helped me unpack my belongings, loaded them into a cart, and wheeled them down the path to the dry cabin. I had deep conversations with them, heard powerful stories, and was even prayed over before I left—something I’ll never forget. They didn’t just host me; they ministered to me in a way that felt personal and unexpected. They also asked permission-no pressure! Inside the cabin, everything is simple, intentional, and clean. I brought my own water and used the "sweet potty" which was easy to manage. The cabin itself is quaint and set up to encourage quiet reflection.

This was the most perfect peaceful getaway. Just what I needed and was looking for getting away from the city for a few days. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. They went out of their way to bring a new propane tank for the grill, which I really appreciated. They also were flexible with my checkout time. Lastly, I left an item and the host offered to mail it to me:) The house couldn’t have been better- clean, beautiful decor, peaceful. I will definitely be back!

This was our second stay, just like the first time it was very relaxing & a nice getaway. We loved the addition of the farm animals. The cabin and the bathrooms were clean & stocked. Stevie was very quick to respond to questions I had before our trip.
