Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Adams County

We stayed for a family Christmas get-together as the house was large enough to accommodate all of us. The area is very private and safe, and the view is wonderful. Given that we stayed in December, all of the leaves were off the trees which allowed for even more panoramic views from the bluff overlooking the Quincy Bay westward toward Missouri. Also, as a given during December, we were not able to utilize the screened-in porch. This would be a wonderful place to sit in the spring and fall, or if you were lucky enough to catch a cool, low humidity, summer evening. The location is on the north end of the city, so all entertainment and shopping is a drive into town, though not too far. The beautiful neighborhood would lend itself to nice walks, weather permitting. Penny is a great host, and was very responsive to us for questions we had during the stay. Overall, this is a great stay if you don't mind the price, or can share it with family or friends.

We loved Lele’s place in Quincy. House is cute and comfortable, and has a lovely fenced yard. Our dogs loved it and we were happy that they got to run about after being in the car all day. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, but still so close to anything you’d need. We hope to stay there again on our travels.

We stayed here while in town for a wedding in Nauvoo and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The house was sparkling clean, inviting, and had everything we needed—from kitchenware, towels, linens and board games to keep our kids off their screens. Shandi was super helpful and responsive throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

This home and the views are stunning. We were in town for homecoming at Quincy University and this house fit our needs perfectly. The house is exactly as described with plenty of fresh linens and a fully stocked kitchen. We truly enjoyed the beautiful views and stunning sunsets.

The duplex was perfect for our wedding weekend. We had plenty of room to spread out and having two kitchens and two living rooms was so nice! The wedding party was able to get ready and the house is adorable so there were lots of neat pictures being taken.

The house contained everything you would use at home-supplies, linens, all presented in an attractive fashion. Kitchen was outstanding and offered a multitude of cooking gadgets, utensils and prep necessities. AC was phenomenal. Very tasteful decor.

We enjoyed our stay! Great communication with the host. We requested a baby gate and within the hour, they delivered one for us. We appreciated their hospitality!

I absolutely LOVED my stay! Just 12 minutes outside Quincy. The property is beautiful! Although if coming in the summer, wear long sleeves and a hood because of biting gnats. But that didn’t stop me from enjoying the beautiful scenery. The place was clean, simple, cozy. Everything I hoped for!
