The host was always responsive and easy to communicate. We liked how calm were the surroundings while it was easy to reach everything we needed by walking. The bathroom is worth renovating but we didn't mind it, and everything was spotless clean.

Çok keyifli bir konaklama geçirdik. Adanın kalabalığında yorulmadan evin keyfini çıkarttığımız huzurlu sessiz güzel bir gün geçirdik. Yüce hanıma konaklama öncesi ve sonrası her zaman hızlıca ulaşabildik. Evde konaklama boyunca ihtiyaç olabilen çoğu şey vardı. Sadece mutfak kullanımı sırasında ihtiyaç olan mutfak bezi, yedek çöp poşeti, rulo havlu gibi malzemeler de olmalıydı diye düşündük ama yine de biz mutlu ve memnun ayrıldık. Çok teşekkür ediyoruz 🙏🏻

Fantastic Historic Location with a Warm & Helpful Host. Murat was an exceptional host—he kindly waited over an hour for our delayed arrival and gave us a thorough tour of the house. His responsiveness and hospitality made our stay seamless! The house itself is charming and cozy, spread across four levels. The location is unbeatable —just steps from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and lively restaurants with nightly live music (expect some crowd noise, but it adds to the vibrant atmosphere!). A few drawbacks: - Water pressure was inconsistent (sometimes stopping mid-shower). - Kitchen sink odor (there was a persistent odor from the sink, possibly due to plumbing issues) Despite these small issues, we highly recommend* this place for its prime location, unique layout, and Murat’s outstanding hospitality. Perfect for travelers who want to be in the heart of Fatih’s historic district! Thank you, Murat, for making our Istanbul trip so memorable!

Lovely comfortable house for our family of 4. Great views and well equipped. In order to get to Üsküdar town and the Fatih easily you need to take a bus which was not ideal but cengelkoy itself is a nice village with some good restaurants and a great historic tea house. Thank you for a lovely stay!

sadece bir konaklama değil resmen harika bir deneyimdi bizim için ev geldiğimiz de zaten mis gibi temizlik kokuyordu ki öyleydi de konum olarak söylenecek bir şey yok boğazın dibinde en üst kattan da görebiliyorsunuz. Perfect location to visit Istanbul’s main attractions. The are is full of nice bars and restaurants. The flat was spacious and clean. The host was welcoming, friendly, responsive and flexible. Highly recommended.

Öncelikle Davut Beye ilgisinden dolayı teşekkür ediyorum. Baştan sona kadar iletişim halindeydik. Arkadaşlarınızla veya ailenizle mükemmel zaman geçirirsiniz. Özellikle bahçesinde oturup keyifli sohbet yapabilirsiniz. Ev içi dizayn oldukça başarılıydı.

Ein sehr schönes Apartment! Ich war für vier Wochen beruflich an der Universität in Beykoz und wir haben zu zweit dort sehr gut gewohnt. Im Apartment ist vorhanden, was man braucht, z.B. auch Waschmaschine. Die Lage ist fantastisch. Blick vom Balkon auf den Bosporus! Supermärkte in der Nähe, weitere Geschäfte in Pasabahce. wenige Minuten zur Promenade am Bosporus. Verkehrsanbindung ist auch gut. Busstation 3 Minuten entfernt, abends gibt es in der Woche Schiffsverbindung vom Goldenen Horn nach Pasabahce. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Duygu was a brilliant host. She was friendly and quick to respond every time I messaged. It was very nice of her to personally welcome us when we arrived at her place and give us a tour of the house. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, crockery, cutlery and equipment. The entire piece was well furnished and the rooms were exactly as in the photos. Linen was clean. There was a nice spot in the backyard for our group to hang out as well as a living room. There was running hot water. The neighbourhood was quiet and safe. Galata Tower, Istiklal Street, Taksim square and Nisantasi were about a twenty minute walk. There are many restaurants and groceries are available nearby. All in all, our stay at Duygu's place exceeded our expectations. I would recommend this house to big groups.

The Galley Hotel was extremely accommodating to us for our 14+ person family reunion in Istanbul! This trip's purpose was for our family from Ukraine, Georgia, and America to all meet in one place for the first time in years, and we are so glad we chose The Galley Hotel for our extended stay. It was a perfect location both for accessing the city, having a spot to rest and recharge, and hosting family breakfasts and dinners. The hotel's resources were also very reliable. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfasts we ordered were the perfect way to start our days, and the kitchen was such a vital part of our stay, providing for a place to gather, eat, and play games as a family. The front desk and cleaning staff were absolutely the highlight of our stay. Not only are they available 24 hours a day, but they were extremely communicative with us, just a phone call or text message away if we needed any help or wanted to book any experiences in Istanbul. Turgay and Ferhat were always responsive to our questions, very kind and helpful. The place is nice and quiet, the pool has been a great part of our stay. I’m a yacht captain with 6 other crew members. This place was exactly what we needed to do our jobs here in Istanbul. I would recommend this place 100%

Très belle maison dans un environnement paisible nous avons passé un très bon séjour en famille

We stayed here as a group of 10 for my 30th birthday and had the best time. The house was spacious and super comfortable – plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The bedrooms are large, and having multiple bathrooms made getting ready so much easier for a big group. Plus, location is amazing!! The kitchen is really well-equipped and open, which made it perfect for all the birthday prep we did. There’s also a lovely little garden where we spent a lot of time hanging out, having drinks, and just enjoying the space. Even though it was hot outside, the AC kept the house cool, which made a huge difference. Overall, it was such a great place for a group stay – we all genuinely loved it and would definitely come back!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft sehr genossen und die traumhafte Aussicht voll ausgekostet. Trotz der größeren Gruppe, da wir mit Kindern angereist sind, hatten wir ausreichend Platz für alle. Der Check-in verlief problemlos, auch wenn wir etwas verspätet ankamen – Ahmets Familie hat extra auf uns gewartet und uns herzlich willkommen geheißen. Die Unterkunft ist gut ausgestattet und bietet alles, was man für den Alltag benötigt. Allerdings könnten einige Möbel in absehbarer Zeit erneuert werden, da sie im Laufe der Zeit Abnutzungsspuren zeigen.

Rezervasyon ânından çıkışa kadar herşey harikaydı. Fırat bey çok iyi bir evsahibi, çalışanlar bir o kadar ilgiliydi. Ev de ihtiyacınız olacak tüm detaylar düşünülmüş. Herşey için çok teşekkürler

Wundervoller Aufenthalt – absolut empfehlenswert! Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit in diesem Ferienhaus! Alles war genauso, wie wir es uns erhofft hatten – wenn nicht sogar besser. Das Haus ist sehr großzügig geschnitten und bot unserer Gruppe von 10 Personen mehr als genug Platz, um sich rundum wohlzufühlen. Ein besonderes Highlight war die Lage: Das Meer und ein wunderschöner Strand lagen direkt vor der Tür – ideal für spontane Badeausflüge oder entspannte Abende mit Meeresrauschen im Hintergrund. Auch der Gastgeber war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auf unsere Fragen hat er immer schnell und zuverlässig reagiert, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen – absolute Empfehlung!

place is lovely and spacious, was perfect for our little family reunion . Location is great right next to the sea, lots of space for everyone, weather wasn’t good enough for the pool or swimming in the sea but we had great time by the open fire and in the little summer house in the garden. Had everything we need in the kitchen ,only thing is home decor wasn’t our taste but that is really very personal. Garden is the die for, well recommend it x

Yer olarak çok beğendik gerek bahçesi gere evin için çok iyiydi tek bir dez avanjı evin ahşap olması ama evin içinde zamanda geçirmiyorsun yürürken üst katta ses yapıyor biraz ama sadece uyku için çıkıyorsun o yüzden de çok rahatsız edici değil ev sahibide sağolsun çok kibar ve ilgiliydi çok teşekkür ederiz çok memenun kaldık.
