The house is in a quiet neighborhood and very little noise was heard when you’re inside. The house is older and does need some maintenance but nothing that hindered us from having a nice stay! Also, added bonus - no checkout cleaning requirements!

We had a great time visiting onancock and Kimberley's place was a cozy home away from home in a beautiful setting, right across the street from the water.

This house is truly a hidden gem on the island. It’s fully stocked and beautifully furnished, catering to all types of travelers—whether you’re an adventurer looking to explore or someone like me who enjoys relaxing at home. Everything you could possibly need is right here, making it perfect for a peaceful getaway or an unforgettable vacation. I absolutely loved my stay and can’t wait to return in the near future!

Loved our stay! The house was extremely clean and living room couches and beds were very comfortable and in great shape. The house was a perfect getaway for our family, and the one level interior and just a few steps at the outside doors made it so easy for our young children and old dog. Would definitely stay again.

I am originally from the area and I come here occasionally. I usually stay about 45 minutes from Crisfield. This Home had everything that we needed. I always bring a special bag with cleaning supplies, toiletries, hand soap, etc. But this place has it all. I love the wall decorations and am going to use some of those for ideas for our home. Thank you for the use of your home. It was very affordable. We will definitely book again.

Feels like home

For the third time, we had a wonderful stay at this historical home. I spent most of my time on the porch enjoying the sunshine and the marsh with the lighthouse. I love sleeping and being able to see the sunrise right from the bedroom window. The house is well equipped and when we needed help there was swift response. I always enjoy going out back to see the chickens, goats, and geese. I’m really feeling this place is my home away from home.

We had an enjoyable stay at Melissa's place for our 25th wedding anniversary the week of Memorial Day. The listing is very accurate and the communication from the hosts was great! Questions were answered quickly. Location is very central to everthing. Would come and stay again!

This was the perfect spot for us - we wanted to be near enough the bay for a beach day but away from the chaos. It's a little off the beaten path, but that's something we wanted. Easy to get to Onancock for the Saturday market and ~40 minutes to the most popular Cape Charles beachfront. Very clean. LeeAnne was very helpful and friendly. Would stay again!

A beautiful and spacious condo for our family to ring in the new year. Plenty of space for the three of us and our pups. The well-equipped kitchen was perfect since we were visiting in the off season and spent most meals in the condo. We would definitely visit again.

We were really surprised to see such a beautiful view and a very private large lot. The pictures do not do the space justice.The house is large too and easily sleeps 8 comfortably. The kitchen held everything we needed to cook a meal for eight. We were visiting in October so we didn’t have the opportunity to access the pool but know it is a great addition to the property.

We had four generations rendezvous for the week on the property and it was a wonderful time for all family members from 2 to 89 in age. Our days were spent pulling croaker and trout off the dock, paddling and splashing around the bay on paddleboards, swimming in the pool, savoring the panoramic view off the bulkhead, and dinners on the back patio. This property truly captures the essence of Delmarva living. On the last day of the trip we all agreed-we need to return!

We loved it! Everything was perfect! The backyard was fantastic and we surely enjoyed sitting out there. Super peaceful area. Beautiful water views!!

Very enjoyable stay! The place is spacious, clean, well equipped, updated, and overall desirable. The neighborhood is quiet, walkable, and safe and the setting is lovely. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We had particularly enjoyed the two kayaks (water access close by but check with the neighbor first as the launch site is his). Our Shiba loved the place as well as we were happy for the opportunity to bring her. After all, this was a rehab vac for her as she was recovering from a surgery ;-) But be aware that this is a residential neighborhood which means that things like ocean beach or places with a choice of restaurants are a drive away. Highly recommended.

House was located in an open area which we liked. WiFi available but we could not operate the Direct TV and could not find instructions on how to work. Other than that, we would use this house again in upcoming visits.

We loved our stay in Captain’s Cove! Nick was a very responsive host with wonderful local suggestions. Do be aware that there is really not much in the way of gas stations, grocery stores or restaurants in the immediate area. We knew that going in, though, and it wasn’t an issue for us. Just know you will need to drive a bit or prepare with those items on your way in (which Nick told us in advance as well!) The view is beautiful! The Airbnb is exactly as pictured. It was very quiet as well. Loved that it was pet friendly so we could bring our dog! Would definitely stay again!

We ABSOLUTELY loved our visit, and plan to return and stay with Basia! Our weekend consisted of rainy weather and she offered us a covered porch which was well worth it!! Each morning we had a peaceful water view with the horses in the distance. I don’t think it could get any better. The boat tour was SO much fun. Basia stayed in contact with us about when would be the better time to go. She really looked out for us when the weather would be at its peak. Her recommendations never failed to impress. Thank you SO much for having us!! We plan to be back.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Rick and Christi's Airbnb. The location is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful getaway, with direct access to the beautiful sandy beaches of Chesapeake Bay. Whether you’re into water activities, fishing, or just taking quiet walks around the serene neighborhood, this place has it all. One thing to note is that this spot is not for those seeking nearby restaurants or bars because there aren’t any in the vicinity—and that’s exactly what makes it so special. It’s a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Our family, including my wife and 14-year-old child, thoroughly enjoyed our time here. But what truly sets this place apart is the warm and friendly hospitality from Christi. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. A lovely touch was the fresh jalapeño pepper she gave us, which we’re still using in our meals. Thank you, Christi and Rick, for making our vacation memorable.

Very quiet. House was spacious. We were in the area to visit family so we didn’t spend a whole lot of time at the house but the beds were very comfortable it was a great place for us to sleep. Host was very responsive. Would stay again in the future.

Beautiful house in a wonderful setting but you only get a beach at low tide. You also must walk about 100 yards out through 1 foot deep water to get to the sandbar. The sandbar beach lasts for about four hours. New fun games in the garage and lots of beach chairs were available. We enjoyed this place and the house has everything you could ask for but wish we knew about the low tide only sandbar beach.

Staying at Rachel's worked very well for us. The fenced backyard is extensive and great for our dog. The location is quite good for the reason that we came. We are road bicyclists and from Rachel's we could bike in many directions and enjoy local roads with little traffic or no traffic. The home is very comfortable, and Rachel is quite the hostess with snacks not just for us but our dog. He never gets pepperoni sticks at home! He was delighted. We were fortunate to meet Rachel as she quickly responded to a snafu with the TV connection. Accomac has many colonial era structures and biking along Back Street was a lovely experience.

We had an extended stay(2 months) to accommodate a transfer with my husband’s job. The area is beautiful and the location was perfect. Just off the main drag and close to everything. If you are looking for a nice, pet friendly location, this is the place!!

The parsonage was perfect for our family. The house was extremely clean and felt welcoming from the start. Filled with history and all the amenities you need for a great stay. Things for the kids to do, including books, crayons, DVDs and the kids loft was perfect. Great laundry facilities. The area was wonderful, with Mallards restaurant and kayak tours just a couple minutes walk away. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful family getaway!!

Joan’s place (and Joan) were absolutely lovely. Upon arrival, we were struck by the adorable cottage. It’s in a quiet, peaceful, and serene neighborhood. The screened-in porch was a little haven for us and our dogs in the morning and better yet at sunset where we had spectacular views. Joan was responsive, helpful, and very sweet. Highly recommend this stay over and over. We plan on returning ☺️
