Walk from the doorstep to explore the Abernethy forest, the Speyside Way, Loch Garten and more. Watch red squirrels scamper round the aspen trees and stroll to the river at the foot of the garden. A beautiful and tranquil setting, you will find it peaceful and relaxing. Facilities include a double bed in the main bedroom which can be split into two single beds, and a sofa bed in the lounge area. The property is a converted attic space and therefore has a sloping ceiling so be careful not to bump your head! We are in the heart of the Whisky Trail with many distilleries nearby, so a visit and a wee dram is a must! OTHER ACTIVITIES - FISHING, CYCLING, WALKING, HIKING and BEAUTIFUL BEACHES

Our guests will have full use of the self-contained former "Servants Quarters" & we promise not to ring the bell expecting you to bring us G&T! Fully refurbished and styled by Pam of PamPicks, her quirky mix of vintage & curious items make it a super place to spend time with lots of unique pieces to take your eye....some of which she may let you buy!

The Annex ( with Sauna )

Self check-in is available if required. Self contained annex with spacious, south facing bedroom with access out to the garden which guests can use. We are 2 minutes walk from the river and can direct you to nearby hills and lochs where scenic walks can be enjoyed. There is a cosy, friendly pub just round the corner which serves lovely home cooked meals all day. They welcome "muddy boots, kids and dogs". We are dog friendly too so please feel free to bring your well behaved dog along.

A bothy bedroom in the heart of the Cairngorms

Connected to the old cruck barn this is a compact, cosy, self contained bedroom. It’s set on one side of the courtyard with separate key access so you can come and go at will. If you love the outdoors, we think you will love it here. We have spectacular views of the Cairngorms, with excellent walks from the door. Rustic, with loads of character, the room has a comfy king size bed and en suite bathroom with shower. If you need mod cons or lots of space this may not be the place for you!
