Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. If you enjoy peace and quiet, and a environment engrossed in nature away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the Sateh Eco lodge is for you. Each lodge has it's own bathroom and king size bed. With one double sized family room which has a extra single bed and a cot, for that small young family. Hosted by me Sara, a Gambian who is always here to take on any tours or guide you around our hospitable village, which is on our beautiful coast.

Charming house in beautiful wooded park

The house is located in a wooded and flowered park, fenced, one and a half hectares, a 15-minute walk from the beach and the heart of the village by small paths, in a residential area. The house enjoys all the comforts and attentive staff, with a caretaker settled in his own house at the entrance to the property and a stove who will prepare typical Senegalese dishes for you. The garden welcomes many colorful birds, but also a chicken coop and two friendly dogs.

A 15-minute walk on shady paths leads to the beach or the village. The round house is in its own garden, you are completely undisturbed there. It is completely tiled, clean, has mosquito protection on windows, doors and beds, running water and solar power. An outdoor staircase leads to the beautiful, shady roof terrace. It's not a luxury hotel, but secure with locking doors. You may encounter small geckos and hear local sounds—drums, distant cooking, or radios—adding to the authentic rural experience.

3 traditional huts 2 minutes from the sea

Simple but well maintained rooms, a two-minute walk from the sea and with a view of a beautiful lake, hundreds of birds, and the possibility of seeing crocodiles (depending on the season). A little piece of heaven, very quiet. A few meters on the beach you will find a small bar with deckchairs and drinks. Nene and Aliou will also offer you good traditional dishes in a warm and family atmosphere. The toilet is outside the bedrooms.
