Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. We are located 2km from the Senegalese border and 1km before Kartong. We are located right next to the beach with direct access , yet still only 300m from the main highway! We have a beautiful elevated view of the Atlantic ocean with the best sunsets. A wonderful natural environment .focusing on eco living with comfort , perfect for those who appreciate the wonders of nature. We also get large camping tents for hire with toilets.

Enjoy the most relaxing and tranquil vacation ever. The Blue Lodge is located in a very peaceful rural area, extremely peaceful and with nature all around. You will live with a lovely Gambian family, who will do their all to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible. Kachume is located close to the beach. It is possible to ride a bicycle or walk, but the Gambia is hot so a car ride is definitely easiest. Also close to lovely Sanyang, with a fantastic beach and some restaurants.

C'est une charmante petite maison typique de la région avec eau chaude, pour 4-5 personnes située à environ 50 mètres de la plage et à quelques pas du village de Kafountine. Ce havre de paix bénéficie d' un emplacement privilégié sans vis à vis. Il vous permettra de profiter pleinement de votre séjour dans la région et faire de longues promenades le long du littoral.

Its a house in the jungle, near the sea, and not to far of village ( 1'5 km), is very peaceful and beautiful place with a big and clean garden. Here you can find the tranquility that you need. it is a new house with all the services to be well and confortable. If you like the original travels you will love it!! It is ideal to know and share knowledge with the neighbors of the area.

Estuvimos pasando dos días en Kafountine y el alojamiento de Nathalie fue perfecto para lo que buscábamos. Una mini casita independiente para nosotros, con una terraza al lado de un gran baobab, mucha intimidad y a 5 minutos de la playa. El camino no está asfaltado y es de difícil acceso en coche, pero hay motitos que te llevan hasta ahí y puedes llegar andando. El lugar es precioso, en plena naturaleza, la cama muy cómoda, el baño muy bien, con agua caliente. Hay un pequeño frigorífico y todo lo necesario para tomarte un café cuando vuelves de la playa. Nathalie nos ayudó a solucionar un problema que tuvimos en el pueblo y siempre estuvo disponible para nosotros. Estancia maravillosa, anfitriona perfecta, 100% recomendable.

Ein kleines Paradis. unter Palmen gelegen. Wir hatten einen geräumigen Bungalow mit Ventilator ausgestattet, so das die warmen Nächte erträglicher wurden, Auf der Vorterrasse zwei bequeme Sessel mit Tisch dort haben wir morgens gerne gesessen um unseren Kaffee/Tee zu trinken. Das Restaurant mit wundervollen Meerblick gerade auch zum Sonnenuntergang ein echter Traum. Essen sehr lecker zu einem günstigen Preis. Das Personal vor Ort macht alles möglich einem den Aufenthalt so schön wie möglich zu gestalten. Der einzig negative Punkt für uns war das WiFi, praktisch nicht vorhanden. Wir haben dann immer wenn wir Internet brauchten einen Hotspot bekommen. Damit konnten wir aber gut leben. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall irgendwann mal wieder vorbei bei Mama Folenka

Gino's place is a true Gambian paradise surrounded by a palm trees full of humming birds and a family of lovely monkey only a stone thorw from the pristine beach Kartong. Don't expect a luxury lodge but if you like nature and peace and quite this is the place to be!
